Acts 10:42 says - "And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one appointed by God to be judge of the living and the dead."

     - "judge" is G2923, krités - "judge, magistrate, ruler"
                              I stumbled on this word by accident G2924. kritikos (a related word) - critical, able to judge or discern - critique! :dontknow: I just thought that was interesting..

In comparison, John 3:17 - Jesus said, "for God did not send His Son to the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him".

      - and "judge" is G2919. krinó -

"to judge, decide;  – properly, to separate (distinguish), i.e. judge; come to a choice (decision, judgment) by making a judgment – either positive (a verdict in favor of) or negative (which rejects or condemns); J. By taking into account both verses, I'm thinking we are to think that Jesus is fully appointed as judge (and ruler) but fully in that office, He will not judge the world, but will save it.

John 12:47 - "And if anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world."

John 8:15 - "You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one."

1 John 4:14 - "And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world."

I.M.O this is  the time when others, who do not yet know Christ as their saviour because they are not aware of the sacrifice He made, because it is not their time to know, will have their deeds exposed, like we have, and come to appreciate the sacrifice which has actually already dealt with their sins- ergo the judgment HAS ALREADY OCCURRED JUST THEY DO NOT KNOW THAT YET.

1 Cor 4;5 " So then, stop passing judgment on anything before the time, before the Lord comes.

 I am in awe of God  and He alone has taken  the fear out of  many things that  used to  trouble me .


  I do not think we can understand  things without the Holy Sprint teaching us what the Truth is , Because  you are spiritually dead  while living as a human being  , our carnal nature   thrives on things of this world  , not the   Holy things of God and His  realm   that ever had a beginning or end  but  just IS .. always was and will be .

  Scriptures are  scriptures until they become  Living Words you hear in your  new spiritual mans   ear   and heart  awaking to   Gods law of Love by faith [born  in a natural state   and born  again of the new nature in Christ body ]
in   Jesus   Christ righteousness .  we have never had any on our own merit ..because of two entirely different and opposing /adversarial  natures at work   in our members /bodies .

  I know where there is no law there is no sin / error  / missing the mark   , but are as  the dead  realm because the law that brings  wrath kills us .  Paul speaks of this very clearly in all of Romans

  Romans 4  speaks  of it Abraham Receives the Promise  of faith .

...14For if those who live by the Law are heirs, faith is useless and the promise is worthless,

15because the Law brings wrath.

And where there is no law, there is no transgression.

I see   the book of Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ  [DAY OF THE LORD /1000 YEAR REIGN ]  as just that   , the LIVING WORD  that none can understand without the Spirit of prophecy /testimony of Jesus Christ  working in them .HE IS the Word of God made flesh      and He Alone  is   the witness to GOD  making this world by speaking   the WORD into existence  from nothingness/ the dark void   Proverbs 8

This Word kills and makes alive   and it is the WORD OF GOD   that judges us all  at any time !!   I see GODS WORD as a constant   
occurring continuously  because    , GOD never changes ... only we do ... and our state of being  in natural or spiritual .

  Here to me is the proof  that it is Gods Word that judges and makes war  with His enemies    any adversary that does not keep the law    , all the law     , there are   always two laws in effect     continuously   the law of Life and the law of death   
in the spiritual realm      ,

I do not see the natural realm as  significant  in my opinion , because it is flesh and blood  [and is not what we   war against , this natural  condition a very short time ] and it is more of the powers  and principalities  in high places that belong to GOD ONLY   that are being judged  as evil  and are being done away with in Christ .This anointing is a  Holy oil   for a flame  to keep burning in Gods fiery law   of Love and jealousy ,   GOD is a consuming fire   in one description  as well as Spirit and Truth and Love   etc..

This is the main clue  to me  , in my opinion  most cannot see nor understand   yet , as the WORD OF GOD IN HEAVEN IS STILL the same LORD JESUS CHRIST   reigning    even now from the time the FATHER raised Him from the dead  back to Life  and  gave Him all authority .  THIS LIVING WORD is sharp as the two edged WORD /SWORD  that separates the soul from the spirit   in Hebrews 4   a soul /life is as dead without the Sprint of the Living God  working in them   , this rest  is the true Sabbath  /  7th day Son of God that done  the works  from the foundation of the world    !! That there is one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Eternal Father, the one by whom God created all things, and by whom they do consist.  that we get to enter into when we obey HIS VOICE   and do not harden out hearts towards HIM   as an enemy ...and enemy of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ  but enter the body of the Living realm     alive before God   ..

If we have not entered into His rest by faith in HIS POWER  TO DO  and the works of God are not keeping the whole law  of life in us , that the wrath of God is still abiding on us as enemies of the cross ..

  This is why Paul said   I KNOW NOTHING but JESUS CHRIST AND HIM  crucified   so the old law covenant of death could not harm him  any longer and put him to death   , but   the rest of the Lord Jesus Christ living in him would  dwell  in him [LORD OF THE SABBATH REST] ...  Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28, and Luke 6:5. the law of  Love  and Life world be  the answer .

  I was afraid  this might not sound good , but I love being able to  talk about these things at the Tentmaker . There is freedom in the Truth ...

  God knows , one of the things i keep asking the Lord   is for clarity and  being able to  be clear  to others when it comes to sharing  and listening  and learning  all together   though the Holy Spirit .

  It is not as easy as it seems  though .
  For instance sharing your faith is  difficult at best for some , like me .
  I believe with all my heart that  Satan as well as the beast is a ''concept ''    not   so much as a  concrete  substance you can peg down in  one hole .

  When one would just consider a few  things the scriptures speak of in context  , it usually can be by comparing   something to something else  ,and other scriptures of old and new  testaments   which means Witness  in   the simplest form  and it is  mostly beast type natures    that every last one of posses in some way or form at some  time or instance  in our lives  , by being an enemy  against the Lamb of God, another   good comparison  to consider as well as enemy of the  cross of Christ  or the Lion of the tribe of Judah  , That the LORD JESUS CHRIST is called and so many , many   more   , like the Good Shepherd  and Son of God and the Son of Man     etc...  long list  , But it is mainly the WORD OF GOD  giving LIFE though the HOLY SPIRIT .

Now  for instance Satan is called a roaring lion seeking whom to devour   as accusing   the brethren  before God day and night  exposing their  hearts as  sins  being  evil against God ?  and a  great dragon in the sky , stealing stars  for himself  to use   and a liar, murderer and  snake   , prideful as beastly  and  very negative  adversarial   hardheartedness  against  GODS desire    and always doing harm  , sifting  and destructing  peoples   flesh using it up  as food  , this was what God gave him as his portion  in Gods plan of the ages  till the flesh be no more ..

  It might just be me only in this , but is that not what the ministration of death does  exactly ?

I come to this conclusion when  reading   the book of      Zechariah   about Joshua  From the Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a) meaning "YAHWEH is salvation". As told in the Old Testament, Joshua was a companion of Moses. ... After Moses /drawn  from water ,died Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelites and he led the conquest of Canaan. His original name was Hoshea.

I understood that if He obeyed all the law   ,Joshua  a form of  Jesus  name  a rendition of the Hebrew Yeshua (ישוע), also having the variants Joshua or Jeshua  would be blessed  / with the same Christ like  anointing of God mightily HOLY SPIRIT WISDOM    and Satan was on the  right hand though waiting to accuse   him before God if   he failed any  test  ,  Life and death is  in the power of the tongue  and the fruits   we eat of   , from  either  tree ,  knowledge of good and evil  or  the Wisdom of God tree of Life  ,  Both  of the trees  God set in  HIS GARDEN .. Well the whole book /Word of God is  all about Jesus Christ Himself and written of Him   to do Gods will  and every last one of these   that died and  lived    describes everything God  created   to a T    for His proof and purpose  as enemies /adversaries   to be made  new  or never  be again as it was before   .. making all things new and clean  , pure  as Holy as he is Holy .

  The Word of God being breathed  on  by the Holy Spirit anointing  is Life giving  as well as putting to death  from  what many concepts of death means  in the literal sense of the word ,   to the many  other meanings also  as suffering  , sin and error , missing the mark , and discipline as well as  correction  all with  a continuous  flux ,the action or process of flowing or flowing out of  change  out of Gods mouth .

  I always appreciated those whom shared and  made me also dig a little  harder and deeper  for more truth  revealed   than i could have or would have on my own ,  I do thank God for  everything !!

 No, not at all Rose.. He is a righteous judge.. He will judge rightly..! The Rod of Iron.. the Law written in stone.. the rod of iron with which He rules and judges is truth - the Word - Logos - Logic.

Of iron for Truth cannot be broken.. All this... namely, imperfection.. missing the mark.. It IS apocalypse. What's built on the Rock (Logos/Jesus) remains. All else is to build on sand.. To me a great spiritual truth. A foundation.. (the cornerstone?) This life, man's world, empires, kingdoms, corporations.. etc, etc, if not built on the Rock, can only fall. This is the veil pulled away - Greek apocalypse, revealing truth.

It falls. Judgment. Same story over and over, for every empire, every nation, every individual.. It's written in stone, the iron rod, Truth, will reign. Does reign!

It was the shadow and the darkness, the angel of death that passed over in Egypt, which the blood of 7the lamb preserved them.. death "passing over" but claiming others not preserved, protected - still under the wrath, darkness, shadow, angel of death, not yet covered, saved, preserved, by the blood/life of the Lamb, the Logos, the Truth. (The Logic! "God is Love" God is "Almighty". "All knowing." "Love never fails." Concrete.. iron... written in stone. Love self suffering and sacrifice that would not, could not allow one lost..)

And on our hearts.. Is being written, engraved upon every heart :HeartThrob: which each one, once stone, Stoney hearts.. Embedding His Law in every psyche (soul). Every individual full of Love for Him.. overflowing. Love will rule! "The lion will eat straw like the ox".

Interesting concept comes to mind about the angel of death- protected were the sealed, indeed- this seems to be like the ecclesia in this age; born of spirit; the angels of death then killed the first born of Egypt which seems to be a representation of the flesh- ergo the flesh is killed by the angel of death, but the spirit is not- hence in the resurrection when all are spiritual the angel of death will be obsolete.

That's the thing about the carnal nature and character.. starts with a tiny seed of self-ish-ness..
(imperfection, impurity, not holy)

But its potential, as in how far can it go, is a bottomless pit, an abyss out of which come abuses, oppressions, wars.. In my psyche I see it as the darkness, and a smoking bottomless hole.. the smoke always rising up..

I was googling the word thanatos, the greek word for death, and came across this -

Which idea goes right along with Adam and Eve, "surely in the day you eat of it you will die, be dying" (be dying being the more accurate? if I remember...)

I forgot how in Greek mythology it was thought of as a god..

Since all that - death.. pit.. the carnal character and psyche is opposite from God, is moving in the opposite direction, away from God, I was thinking if the soul, consciousness, psyche does live on after death into a gray hades place, it still ultimately (without Jesus) would perish and cease to be.. ..yet to me, part of the message is we can never, no never, go the way of the carnal again! It would be utter foolishness. The very opposite of Logos-logic. Because it can only ever end in perishing.. annihilation.. ceasing to be. So I mean the Truth of `how stupid is it`? Will be deeply embedded into every heart, mind, soul, psyche.. In the consciousness forever, the memory (and knowing of the) smoke rising up out of the bottomless pit (the way of ultimate annihilation) - there being only the two ways. "Behold I set before thee this day life or death.." (Deuteronomy?)

Why did God 'wait'(?) and only create man and woman, and the universe, not only after Lucifer (uh oh, can of beans?) had his first rebellious inklings, but after it had all matured into the concrete potential of, well, quite a bit of self-ish-ness..?

That's the thing about the carnal nature and character.. starts with a tiny seed of self-ish-ness..
(imperfection, impurity, not holy)

But its potential, as in how far can it go, is a bottomless pit, an abyss out of which come abuses, oppressions, wars.. In my psyche I see it as the darkness, and a smoking bottomless hole.. the smoke always rising up..

Hey  sis ,

  I just wanted to mention  another example that helped  in the Old testament about Isaiah  , He said he was undone ,  because he was a man of unclean lips and among a people of unclean lips 
  before the Lord   but.........   
'Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar; and he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo! this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.'

  I know this cannot  be  literal   , but the Fire is always about purification and making clean ,   removing something evil  to make it ''holy ''  pure   before the Lord  to use for His purpose    .
  When we go to   carnal thinking the Bible just does seem to make  sense ,  If anyone stuck a Live coal from the alter on the mouth ,  seems his mouth would be fried  and screaming in extreme  pain ... :flamebreath:

  But in the Spiritual  thinking we can see it is a cleansing effect     and purging  removal of something that is evil  or bad   and  changed to something good  and useful   what if the breath is like a fire   to kindle 

  we see no man can tame the tongue  and it is an unruly   little member of the  body that does set fires in James   3  setting  a course  ..

  This is a negative sense and only   the Lord can tame the tongue  , Like Isaiah's example  in the old testament ?

  I am just comparing scriptures to  other scriptures   seeing them in the negative and positive   uses .

I am starting to see that all those fires is God's own Presence and Spirit! Just naturally purifying, because He is holy! It's the nature of purity to consume away impurity in it's presence.. since he is life/holy and everywhere present, He just naturally purifies!

Hence the verse burning coals on their head and how He told Moses, tell the people to stay back lest I break forth and slay them.

Isn't that something about the "ish"! God is SO good to communicate with his people, those who love him! I'm finding lately that He confirms many things by words.. by the Greek and Hebrew. Sometimes by the word being directly related to something, and sometimes by not even being directly related!

(Ike the Hebrew word olam, reading a post of EW's where he said olam includes, as an age, everything in it. Which I'm not saying as well as he did, but have wanted to express it but couldn't seem to. It somehow confirmed to me - change of topic, sorry - confirmed to me that the seals in Rev are (indeed) the entire age of our Lord, A.D.)

Our Father's many ways of communicating and teaching are SO awesome! Including"comparing scripture to scripture! It's all so fascinating! So very interesting is a big understatement!! And He built it all into this fabric of life from the beginning.
