i just want to know what other issues do tentmakers focus on besides universal reconciliation?

Many others discussed, as long as they don't distract from main focus - which is only Jesus and His eventual salvation of all.

Gary wants his site very focused - that's his ministry, universal reconciliation.

I think we think about and discuss kind of often what the following ages of God, after this one and after the millennium(?) what they may be like / what we think the scriptures have to say about it.. But of course, that is all built upon the foundation of Universal Reconciliation / Christian Universalism.

also, reading the OP again, I think I may have misunderstood the intent of the post..i think the question may be more personal, what else do people think about, wonder about, etc...not just what's posted in the discussion forum?

Oh! You may be right! And it's a good question! As for myself, I can be rather one track minded! Tho I do think about world events and bible prophecy.. even have a few stores in the basement, whether for my own family or others.. who knows? And that huge issue of atheism, supposedly scientific(but not!) And I wonder how many of us are very much into nature! The beauties and special quietness of..? And are gardeners / growers of vegetables and, or flowers? Anybody raise chickens? Etc. :smile:

All interesting to mention but I would hate to see the forum lose its focus on the Great Truth of God's Universal Redemption/Reconciliation. :faint: That Good News is sure needed to be heard! And I love how the focus is purposely kept on track! And love to see new folks wander in here!!

I'm a gardener, musician, artist, sportsman, chef, grand dad, uncle, sibling.
Working in the garden requires physical and chemical knowledge along with spatial awareness, significance of light and wind direction; size plants will grow to... all this points out the attention to detail of our creator.
Also indicates we have much to learn when we have the next age roll into play.
Gardening, for me, is therapeutic.

We can discuss anything, as long as it doesnt turn into strife, but I would say we focus on the love of God, the salvation that is in Jesus Christ alone and translation/etymology, which as marie glen posted, are all closley related to universal reconciliation.

And life! So many awesome aspects to it.. and as EW said.. "related to UR" as when there's the knowledge of God's true Goodness and total potency/control/dominion.. So Grand..

I'm a wife, mom, grand mom, aunt, great ant (make that aunt) of some really cute children.. oh my gosh.. what blessings life is full of.. I'm visiting home right now.. just came in from a small bonfire I sat at with my brother, my sister in law, and my daughter, so feeling especially blessed. I get to see my bro and sis in law once a year.. but I'm babbling..

Just wanted to say we're very blessed.. music, art.. "sportsman, grand dad, uncle.. sibling.. " ..."gardener.." ..what a truly great design of our Heavenly Father.. miraculous.. magical.. especially as we know no matter what is now.. all our loved ones., safe..

Seems like 'he told me lately' the key to many things.. thankfulness.. hope I don't forget that.. (I always get pretty sentimental when I visit home..) i / all of us, are also very blessed by this site and forum. Keeps the knowing of UR strong! For which I'm thankful!

P.S - Other topics/focus" ..I will admit I often focus on eschatology/end time prophecy. (I figure apocalypse is the unveiling of how all things built on sand and not upon The Rock, can only fall / 'crash n burn' as the saying goes, both individually and collective, and in this way is proving good from evil / life from death / perfection from imperfection.  I realized after retiring for the evening and turning the lights out, how my little grand nephew, about age 4, when we first lit the small bonfire and before he went home with his oarents, was explaining to us how if the fire rose up, the smoke would block the stars.. he was repeating himself trying to convince us..

The folks I'm with (beloved family) are all atheists.. but because of UR, this doesn't worry me. But as I was falling asleep, I began to think how my grand nephew was sort of describing a main point I think of about eschatology/bible prophecy.. as I believe " the sun will not give its light and the moon will be red" .. and both reduced by 1/3.. will be the result, ultimately, if man's splitting of the atom., Joel's smoky day.. due to drought and the fires of the split atom..

Fwiw, I couldn't sleep before writing about it.. I mean is that weird.  or am I just being weird?! :laughing7:
