A Faith Based on Love

      Within a few months before my brother, Billy passed away, he told me there is no real love here. I was an eternal torment believer back then, although I didnt like it or understand it, I thought I had to belive it to be a Christian. This was in 2001. I tried my best at the time to convence him otherwise, knowing that it's not reallly true and that I realy loved him just the way he was, but I was unable.
      14 years later I found this faith a faith that God is Love and although I know this fiath and Gods Love have always been here, most of the world are still unable to experiance, see it, know it and understand that they are truly Loved by our Father more than anyone can imagine. This world needs to be flooded with God's never failing love. When the worlds "love" is conditional based on performance and not on who we are created to be, may the Light of the Love of Christ shine in our lives and show the world who our Father truly is and set them free.
  For Christ was beaten, mocked and killed, for what the religouse of His day thought was blasphamy against God, and He siad, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do. May His peace be with you, always. :HeartThrob:

  in Heaven HE IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD   REV 19...12He has eyes like blazing fire, and many royal crowns on His head. He has a name written on Him that only He Himself knows.

13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is The Word of God. 14The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses....

I believe, we, as Christians, need to bring this love to the world, through our own actions.

The best evangelistic works we can do, is to live a life that others can see His love through us.

Many times, Christians give into this world's messages and ways, and, in doing so, we miss our greatest opportunities.

Not even just for those we could have an impact on, but for our own lives.

I lived a difficult life, for much of my 61 years. I suppose we all do, in one way or another. But, when I look back, in many ways, I have a wonderful life, and now, even more so.

I say that, because I tried to live my faith, with God's grace, and the most wonderful memories and wells of peace I have found, have been through this.

Not that I have not failed many times, but, I knew that was where my greatest source of light and life was, and I continually sought it.

Grateful to my Almighty God, for never deserting me; for never stopping to love me; for walking with me, each and every day.

Another gift from this has been that God has allowed me to see how his hand has guided me and sustained me, for all my years.

I have lived to be able to say, that indeed, all things do work for good for those who love Him, and are called to his purpose.

What a glorious gift it is. I am so very thankful for it.

Through very hard trials, I have come to know that love is the reason we are here, and love is what we are to do for others.

I have crawled up the steep and treacherous mountain, but oh, how the view was worth it all!

Christ demonstrated His love that while we were sinners He died for us.
As a child we see things from a small amount of information. As we grow more information is added bit by bit.
Paul said,
            " When I was a child I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.
             When I became a man I set aside childish ways.
            For we are looking obscurely through a mirror at the present,
             BUT THEN FACE TO FACE.
            Now I know in part,
             THEN I WILL KNOW FULLY JUST AS I HAVE BEEN FULLY KNOWN.
            3 things remain, faith, hope and love; the greatest of these is love."

I.M.O many people are not yet made away of that love- just like Esau they try to earn a position, instead of having the security of knowing their position was secured before the world began.
Seems we are currently blessed tot be aware of this scenario; others will not be made aware till the next stage of the plan.

As Paul says;
    1 Tim 2;6 " Who gave Himself a ransom for all, THE WITNESS AT THE PROPER TIME."
    Titus 1;2 " For the sake of the eternal life which God, Who does not lie, promised before times began."
    1 Cor 15;;23 " But each in his own order...."

If I rely on my own efforts then my concerns would be considerable for my family;
I.M.O I have been blessed and relieved from those concerns by the complete assurance that they will be  made fully aware of the reality of Christ work when it is their time to learn. And this seems to be in the next age, when they are resurrected to completely new surroundings.
Now my faith is based on Christ's love which will never fail.

Yes Jesus is The Word has we may learn in John Chapter one. He is the Light to this dying world. Fighting back has not worked, look at the mess we have gotten this world into. Fighting back, returning evil for evil is the way of this world. Jesus told us to turn the other cheek. When we are hated we are to love back as Jesus did. When we all learn this we will be delivered from evil.  :dsunny: :HeartThrob:

Love never fails.

Perhaps that is what this means.....when true love, in any arena is given, then it cannot fail.

Other people might fail us; the world might let us down; we cannot be perfect here, on earth, though that is our goal.......it is the human conditiion.

But, when we love the way God taught us to.....when we are willing to sacrifice everything of importance to us, for love, as God did when He sent His only son, then we will know the peace that only God can give, and God will have worked through us.

Retaliation for wrong seems to come easy to mankind, but love requires looking past ourselves, discipline, and patience. It requires letting God take the steering wheel, and not ourselves. We cannot be afraid of being hurt by others, or looking weak, as the world often interprets loving others, who do not love us back. We must be bold and determined, patient and purposeful. No turning back. Trust in God, alone.
