My Dads 78th birthday is in a few days and I just cannot find the right birthday card. Could yall recommend a couple of bible verses that would be appropriate for his birthday card. Going to make one myself.

Thanks.

This is not from the Bible. It is from C.S.Lewis, a very renowned theologian.

Maybe you will like it.

Job 12:12 Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old.

Psalm 92:12-14 But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the LORD's own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green. They will declare, "The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!"

Philippians 1:6 For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who keep waiting for the LORD will renew their strength. Then they'll soar on wings like eagles; they'll run and not grow weary; they'll walk and not grow tired."

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day. Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.

Maybe you will like one of these.

Thank you all for the input. The card turned out well. Used the Psalm 92 verse in it as well as some other praiseworthy scripture. What a gift from the Lord yall are.
