G'day Chester;
There is an article on the Tentmaker website that is called;
" 100 Scriptural Proofs That Jesus Will Save All Mankind"

There is also a post on this forum last year by Eaglesway  " Literalism and the salvation of all."

A key for me is like Romans 5;18 ' Therefore just as one man's transgression brought condemnation for all men,
                                                   so also on men's righteous act brought justification and life for all men."

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

chester-blowfold,

I know you asked Ross, but I was here, so I thought I'd respond:

If you go to the Tentmaker home page (tentmaker.org), you will see several tabs.  If you click on the one 'Books', it will take you to a page of links, including the '100 Scriptural Proofs...'.

I have spent a lot of time reading on this site, and I will tell you, that it doesn't take long to realize and appreciate the amount of work that has been done putting all this together.  No doubt His spirit resides here! Thanks to all of you!

Pat

Are there many verses?

Chester, here are three of my favorites.

"29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" John 1:29

"7 And she (Mary) brought forth her firstborn son (Jesus Christ), and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:7,14

"20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." 1 Corinthians 15:20,28

He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring all things together in Christ, [both] things in the heavens and things on the earth.

YLT - 10 in regard to the dispensation of the fulness of the times, to bring into one the whole in the Christ, both the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth -- in him;

Ephesians 1:11
11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will

    Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 cor 15:55.. quoting, Hosea 13:4

[The Word (sWord) of God is just bursting (!) with Universal Redemption/Reconciliation (Repentance; the 3R's :laughing7: ). Some of it is real obvious! And some not as obvious.. "King of Kings, Lord of Lords".. .."He is Lord".. If stories dreamed up and written by man, have a happy ending, how much MORE so, the story of God Almighty? of what He is doing/creating.. EW's reponse to that - God's story has a very happy ending. But like the birth of a child, it comes through travail and blood and water with a fair amount of screaming by all parties except the Deliverer. :laughing7: ]

John 4 34 - Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.

[I like this which brother Jugghead posted in a thread called u.r. affirmations u.r.; "God does not choose some "over" others ..... But He does choose some "before" others"]

From Luke 4:18

.."to preach deliverance to the captives.."

with

Hebrews 2:14,15

"..Since the children have flesh and blood, he too..  so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death.. and free all those who through fear of death were held in bondage.."

and

Romans 11:32

"For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all."

2 Corinthians 5:18,19 -

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through
Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,"
- NOT just 'part of the world' but, "the world" - "not imputing their
trespasses to them," - them, who?/ "the world" -
"and, has committed to us, the word of reconciliation".

"I will sing of mercy and judgment unto Thee, oh Lord, will I sing." - Psalm 101:1

One thing I thoroughly believe is that he is Perfect and is Perfection. And perfect (surely?) makes  no mistakes, can lose nothing, and the 'end' result of all this - can only be the very best one possible.

marie glen, you say God is perfect and makes no mistakes but doesn't God give free will so mankind can make mistakes?
