Okay not fountain of youth.. But almost.. or not yet, that is.

Lately I've been thinking about the magic and wonder of God's Kingdom. (Yes, magic and wonder.)

Once upon a time (corny, i know:) in a day when the people languished, there came a Prince,
from another place and from another time. He came to save his people, and to save the world.

"Savior of the World" was one of the many things which was written about him.

But the world knew him not! And executed him on a tree called a cross.

"Pick up your cross and follow me" he said, "I make you fishers of men, throughout all the world,
until I come again. The lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow. The Father who sent me is greater than I."

"If I be lifted up from the Earth (on that tree) I will draw all to me. But each one in their own time, like three measures of meal. I being the Firstfruits, the first one of my Father, then those who rise and are vivified at my return.. Then the end, when I hand all things into the hands of my Father, and He shall be all, and in all."

"Yet once more shall the Earth be shaken and what will fall will fall. It's then to look up, for Earth's redemption draws nigh."

"Until then, come apart from the crowd, regularly, and through Me, enter the magic and miracle of My Father's Presence for strength, guidance and renewal. And always, for the light of love to guide you through each day."

"Until love be the ruling force, each one convinced.. and every little thing, forever, on its right course.
A happily ever after that surpasses any fondest dream.

It will be a brand new day.

For one day soon, we will come to you, and with you we will stay".

Then in my reading was the beginning of Mark 9, the transfiguration. "I tell you there are some of you here who will see the kingdom come in glory.."

Then a few days later they went up a mountain, Moses and Elijah were talking with Jesus, his clothing shone as radiant, and a cloud enveloped them all, and the voice of Yahweh said "This is my beloved Son. Hear Him!"

Then the cloud left. And standing there, alone, was Jesus. "You will see the kingdom in glory." - (You will see Jesus.)

"This is the decree, thou art My Son." Ps 2:7

We who love the Lord love to share Him.. We want to give Him away to everyone we know and meet. And this (?) will be the ruling force to come. Is what our Heavenly Father is building(?)

Well written, Marie.

Please not that the coming in Judgment has already been done in 70 AD when God allowed the Romans to capture Jerusalem. Now Jesus doesn't have to come in such a judgment anymore. The Orthodox Church believes that prophecy works in cycles throughout all the ages. There are many comings of Christ, and it's always to usher in a new age. Maybe we will also have one around this time here that will return true peace to the Earth. Remember the end of the 90's when war seemed to have gone from the world? We can have that again, not just by our own work and effort but also by Jesus Christ's doing.

Also, while Jesus is sometimes a bit away, we have the Holy Spirit abiding with us. That means in us there is a fountain of loving holiness that will paint Christ before our eyes and declare to us what belongs to him. We are not just servants but instead children of God. Jesus didn't leave us like lost sheep. We are actually told that we can do greater things than Christ.
