I don't necessarily trust all NDEs and they certainly are not used for the source of our beliefs or theology. Some people have NDEs with experiences of hell. In other cultures and religions they have NDEs that reflect their culture or beliefs. Some people may experience a true NDE in which they experience death (obviously not true death) and others may be in a dream like state or can be explained by some sort of brain activity.

But the question I have for you is what is the relevance of this question? Who on here is asserting that they believe in UR because of NDEs? Everyone I know who believes in UR does so after prayer and studying the scriptures.

Why do Christians who believe in ET allege that UR is demonic or of the devil?

ET has the devil "winning" a large portion of souls and thwarting God's plan.

UR has God winning every single soul He has created.

Which one seems to exalt God and which one exalts the adversary?

I think of NDE as more supportive of ET, as they suggest inherent immortality (theory of Plato, etc) whereas I believe the death of the Old Testament (thus originally, minus legend, etc) is an absence of life, where there is neither work/device/doing nor thought - Eccles 9:10.
And "Dust thou art and to dust shall you return" Genesis 3:?.. And where it was the serpent who said "surely you won't, die?"

When an image or experience is not defined (given meaning) by God Himself it will always remain as darkness,

but when He Himself gives it its true meaning what was once darkness now becomes light

I see NDE's as a part of partaking of the life of Christ, for He was once dead and now is alive

but can become a pit we fall into it we take thought to it

From my understanding, most NDEs occur when a person's heart has stopped temporarily but their brain remains functional to some degree. Thus, I think NDEs are more or less like dreams influenced by one's religion or cultural beliefs. However, in this state people may become conscious of aspects of their spiritual condition that they did not realize while fully alive. If there is any truth in these experiences, I think it has more to do with the individual's spiritual state than the afterlife experiences for the rest of humanity.

Many NDE's are true but misinterpreted. For example, as one passes through the various levels of the heavens they may become aware of the mass suffering of humankind....and interpret that as eternal hell.

Many NDE's are Satanic, and people have interactions with spirits that sow deceit in their minds.

It is the testimony of the Logos and the witness of the Spirit combined by which we judge all things in terms of spiritual experiences.

It is wiser to define spiritual experiences by the Logos than to define the Logos by spiritual experiences.
