My Potter

In Your Hands,
A Lump of Clay
Mold me
Place me in the Fire
I come out Hard, Brittle,
Nothing to Desire
Yet for a Purpose
For No Mistake
Do You Make

Only Fit for Destruction
Smash me Back to Dust
Pour Living Water Over me
Back to Life I Rise

I come to Realize
I've had No Say
I am but Clay

Shape me Again
Mold into a Vessel Fit for Use
Back to the Fire

This Time Becoming one You Desire
To Boast Not I Must
For Without the Work of Your Hands
I am but Dust.

Well today is the one year anniversary since I have firmly believed in UR.  I am very grateful because through this truth I have been able to trust God like never before since I was a child. I have more peace, joy, love and strength. Only because of the work He has done in me. That is what this poem is about. it is also inspired by Romans 9 which speaks of the sovereignty of God and symbolically describes God as a potter and us as clay. He is our Savoir, Healer and Redeemer, yes He allows and I believe causes suffering, but only with a plan to use it for the final good of us all. I believe when we suffer, He also suffers with us.
The Truth will set you free! 😃
