(Surely?) before God our Father created anything, He could see all possibilities spread out before His perception..

(Surely?) He chose to do each and every thing, just the way He has, in order to bring about the very best of all possibilities..

Who would ever claim that any thing at all is impossible for Him?? :smile:

Now that I believe in UR it all makes sense. Not that it has to make sense to me, a mere mortal, in order for it to be true...but God endowed us with reason and I believe if something sounds reasonable and logical it is more likely to be from God, the father of all, including math, science, etc.

ET makes no logical sense, besides the fact that it is unbiblical and horrific.

Annihilation on the surface seems to be biblical in some passages, and more merciful than ET, but it too makes no sense to me, it brings up a lot of questions, such as...why create a being out of love that you will destroy later? How can man's will not to be saved overpower God's will to save all? If God created a person who was not able to be saved by any means, didn't God fail? And God/love never fails! Plus, there are many issues about "fairness" such as those people who never heard the gospel, or those who chose not to believe because of ET or other church issues that turn people off to the actual good news...or those who live horrible tragic lives on earth (children abused, sex slavery, war, famine, Etc.) but aren't Christian, and then they get to be resurrected just to review their trauma and then die?

Also the scriptures that say that no one can call Jesus lord except by the Holy Spirit...so those who don't believe have not been touched by the HS...is that their fault? And then the scriptures that say that ALL will kneel and confess that Jesus is lord...apparently the HS will do His work at some point with all people.

UR makes sense because it shows that God has a plan. And a perfect God would have a perfect plan with a perfect outcome, right? We are His, we have always been, and will always be.

right..it's the only thing that makes any sense..and we humans are made in the image of God (albeit 'fallen)..if our God given mind heart and emotion tells us 'eternal torment in hell' is wrong that's a pretty good guide..if we recoil from it that's pretty good evidence it's not true...that's not the only evidence of course..an important evidence to me is the Bible does not teach 'eternal torment in hell'..so all in all, we are on very solid ground to believe in Universal Reconciliation.

The sacrifice of The Lamb of God, must be at least equal to the fall of Adam I would think, in order for it to be significant, but of course we know that it went far beyond even that,.... and since All of us were effected by Adams fall it just makes sense that we will all be effected by The Father's Sacrifice of His Son. :thumbsup:

I mean think about it......We have this Treasure in earthen vessels....right here, right now, on this side Jordan.. :boogie: How Awesome is that Sacrifice!!!

As I woke up this morning I had a beautiful thought and think this a good place to share it. It was about the GOOD - ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT will of God. I saw it as the DAYSTAR arising in a persons heart and how we are enlightened bit by bit just as the Earth is lightened by the Natural DAYSTAR our Sun.

GOOD WILL Of GOD: God will at least save some a remnant of which I am chosen to be included.
The full truth not seen as the darkness of self-righteousness still has not lifted.

ACCEPTABLE WILL Of GOD: God compassion begins to fill my heart and I realize his desire to save multitudes. I long for and await for a huge end time revival but still feel like I am more special than others a bit farther in the shadows.

PERFECT WILL Of GOD: After experiencing the grace and mercy and forgiveness of God in his long suffering with me in my many ups and downs. I come to realize his passion and find it is his intention to SAVE ALL. The DAYSTAR finally dispels the darkness of self-righteousness in my soul and the judgement and condemnation of others. LOVE SHINES :HeartThrob:

by the humility and total surrender of a will a desire to be filled completely by Him and For Him and though Him can we even begin to know the Power of the Holy Spirit working though Love ... God has always loved us , it is our revelation to know that we love Him as much and death and the fear of it has lost its power over us :HeartThrob:

Good analogy. The earth moves around the sun. The sun consistently remains bright- there is no shadow in the sun.
In our current state of being we can only tolerate a certain amount of that sun before getting sun-burnt.
In the spiritual state we will be like Him.

Just imagine the dark glasses we would need to see that glory- would need to be better, stronger, than welding safety glasses.
In our change of body we will actually be able to look at our Father's face, thanks to Jesus. Enter His presence with boldness as children of the almighty Father of creation. Registered above the angels, like Jesus.
