"Speaking The Truth--In Love"

Emotions like waves within our soul
Like the sea tides-some high some low
Sometimes they crash and rock and roll
As the storms of life buffet out soul

But all is well and this I know
If we speak the truth--the storm will go
The waves will calm--and once again
We'll hear The Master and not the wind

What manner of men have we become
To have this power in our tongue
Like Sons of God-with Authority
Our words frame worlds--our destiny

Our Father's faith is on the line
That we will speak--just truth this time
We'll take His Words--His Thoughts and Dreams
And speak just them--until they're seen

We're children that Our Father's trained
And now--As Sons--We Rule and Reign
We speak The Truth--In Love with Him
And create Heaven-- where Hell has been.

:iagree: In my natural I cannot do it but it is easy when I hear it down inside me and just write it down. It's a gift that began after my conversion and infilling of the Holy Ghost. My high school English teacher thought I was a lost cause when it came to poetry. I often tell my wife that teacher was probably a Christian went to be with the Lord and told him if you can do anything teach that kid about poetry. :punish: So I kiddingly blame her!
