At TM we want to maintain a place where when people come to seek information about the victorious gospel of the salvation of all they are not seeing nothing but threads about peripheral issues. There are sites for the study eschatology and for dicussing and debating the traditional doctrinal issues upon which Christians most often speculate and discuss. This is not that site.

When issues are discussed it should be with a view to "an administration suitable to the fulness of times, the gathering toether of all things into one in Christ, whether things in heavenor things on earth" (Eph 1).

We dont necessarily discourage discussions of other things- especially from the standpoint of helping new Christians with their general understanding, but it is better to keep even those discussions centered in the manna and milk of spiritual growth and who our God and Father is, as well as who Jesus our Lord is(the radiance of the Father's glory and exact representation of His nature Heb 1:1-3).

When I get on the home page and see that almost all the recent posts are on these tangental issues then I become concerned that we are not only not making progress in our true mission, we are working contrary to it by representing ourselves as "no different" than other Christian debate sites- of which there are so many. We are fooling ourselves and pursuing vanity if we think we can do those other things and also do a good job at what we are called to do here.

Typically I would never make a statement like this but here goes....

We are workers in a particular field here. Bringing to light the glory of the Father's purpose in creation and His plan to bring all things into Himself in the final full redemption- to become ALL IN ALL. This is the gospel and I am a warrior for it. Dedicated. Undeterred. Refusing to be distracted and relentless(by the grace of God and His working in me through His Word and His Spirit) in the pursuit of that mission.

We try to be liberal and polite about it, but we will always come back to it- and start making some noise when we feel we are getting away from it.

It is not personal, we are not judging anyone's views. We are being faithful to the stewardship and the opportunity to distribute the particular grace God has given us.

For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, [f]according to the proportion of his faith; 7 if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; 8 or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulnes.(Rom 12)

Our function here is not to debate and discuss the same ol divisive stuff that clings to the church like a moldy fungus.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith [d]by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.(1 Cor 12)

There are people who have gifts in apologetics and delving into eschatology and rightly dividing general doctrine.... but those gifts are only useful here if they come back around to the purpose for which we are established, so it is not an invalidation of those gifts, but a focus on God-given function and purpose that is being explaining here.

We are in some danger of so watering down that message with other stuff that we lose our relevance and miss the purpose for which the site is established.

" Bringing to light the glory of the Father's purpose in creation and His plan to bring all things into Himself in the final full redemption- to become ALL IN ALL."

The simplicity of the gospel; literal good news.
The Father's purpose is awe inspiring.
His wisdom exceeds man's wisdom.
I.M.O relative to eternity we are still babes; learning so much at individual rates, but all for the glorious outcome.
Going beyond 24/7 to the time picture releases us from failure, and again enhances the master plan as amazing.

Yes, EW. I understand and agree.

We have been given a torch to pass, and we need to be ready, willing and able.

God will give us the grace and wisdom. We can prepare ourselves and put on our armor best by prayer, listening to His voice, and preparing our hearts and minds.....which is where Tentmakers comes in.

Thank you.

I'm very thankful to have found the TM page/site. I hope I get this on here correctly. This is my very first time on a forum so hopefully I get this right... :dontknow:   I am looking forward and at the same time, a little timid to being able to openly share all the The Father, YHWH has revealed to me.
Thank you.

I am looking forward and at the same time, a little timid to being able to openly share all the The Father, YHWH has revealed to me.

Our Father knows as all; we are in the heavenly family because of our loving saviour/brother Christ.[ we are joint heirs with Jesus]
The clearest insight, for me, is that we are born at different times, yet in the same family, each one growing at their own rate, with different roles, yet with one purpose, one goal, hence the need for One faith- Christ alone.
So welcome to grasping/being shown the significance of that statement, not request, by our Father;
1 John 3;1 " Look what kind of love the Father has GIVEN us, that we may be called the children of God."
Growing is a continual process- so press on knowing the security of your position thanks to Jesus.
Have a great day!
Fellow brother in Christ
