"Greater Grace"

It takes a Leap of Faith
To enter into Grace
And another Leap of Faith
Into a Greater Grace

I leaped into the Arms of Jesus
And I just knew-that I was Saved
I was better than those others
Those - Headed to Hell Someday

Then Jesus overhauled my mind
Said he was the Saviour of All Mankind
I struggled with that truth - quite a bit
Said surely not - That shoe don't fit

I wrestled  until I was overcome
And the wrestling match He finally won
Because I'd been humbled - much inside
My many failures - His Grace Did Hide

That's when He taught me - Yes Indeed!
Something only Humbled Men Can See
That - No one's Worthy of The Call
And so He Chose To Save Them All

That Greater Grace
I do believe
Is that Final Trump
That sets Creation free

So think again my precious friend
Or you'll be humbled - once again
The wrestling match - He'll surely win
Then you'll have - Mercy For All Men

That Day of Judgement
Has Already Come
Were all Judged Righteous
By the Son

So Tell The Truth
And Honor Me
Ye Son's of God
Go Make Men Free

Very, very good! "the Final Trump" .."mercy trumps judgment"- paraphrased.

Your poems are very good.. They're understandable and not overly long.. Especially love the last lines..

I started to think of a poem today, also about grace, but it was just a line or two or make that three as one line wouldn't be a poem! something, something grace.. when we gaze upon His Holy Face..

I'm only a poet in spirit!

Very nice poem! Love it! And it rings with truth.

He1MyHeart,

"Greater Grace" is so good!

If we could get John (Eaglesway) to put it to music, we would have a beautiful poem and a beautiful song for sure.
