"Fruitcakes There Won't Be Any"

Jesus must like Fruitcakes
Because he's got a lot of them
They're listening to a bunch of nuts
But not listening to Him

Jesus must like Fruitcake
But the Fruitcake is getting old
He's going to change the Fruitcakes
When the full truth is told

He's going to change the Fruitcakes
Turn them into Living Bread
When they stop listening to all the nuts
And let Him be their head

He's going to take those flaky minds
Filled with doctrine so unsound
And lead them by the childlike
In whose hearts The Truth is Found

It's going to be a miracle
As he makes those captives free
Because I once was a Fruitcake
And I know He Transformed Me

So go ahead and look around
As you see Fruitcakes a plenty
The day is coming -- I Believe
Fruitcakes -- There won't be any!

All the Glory goes to Him
Who changed Water into Wine
And now He changes Fruitcakes
Into men with "Christlike Minds"

Oh my Gosh! Perfect, just perfect!

..also reminds me of some verses I read this morning..

"..God made foolish the wisdom of this world.. ..since... the world through wisdom did not know God.." from 1 Cor 1:20,21 (and through wisdom refused to know God?)

Just as Father God has included all in sin/imperfection (the Greek - "missing the mark") He has included all under foolishness..

".. that no flesh should glory in His presence"

1 Corinthians 1:20-31
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. 30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— 31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."

It's the wisdom of God to let us all be foolish..? :dontknow: :Chinscratch: :laughing7:

I do believe it is....... :Chinscratch:

...everybody plays the 'fool' :icon_jokercolor: sometimes...there's no exception to the rule.

you see...it all began in the garden..when Eve was fooled.............then the prince of this world revealed 'you have no clothes on"

and a fig leaf was not sufficient [law covenant] for it did not sufficiently cover our nakedness.  and God clothed us with coats of skins.

     [Lamb]

But satan challenged God regarding Job[God's work of creating man in His image] and Job said 'Naked I came out of my Mother's womb

and naked I shall return" And yet another day,Satan challenged ' Skin for skin,yes..all that a man has will he give for his life.

Put forth your hand and touch his bone and his flesh and he will curse thee"    But Job answered..'shall we recieve only good at the

hand of God,and not evil?

and the Lord turned the captivity of Job[His work of creating man in His image] when he prayed for his friends[false comforter's]. And

also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

churches that accuse/condemn their fellowman with manmade doctrines/wisdom..are false-comfortor's.
