How the doctrine of ET will glorify God..

Hopefully this is in the right section...

And i dont know if this has been posted yet or not, please forgive me if it has....

But do you ever wonder why God has even allowed the false doctrine of ET that deceives millions of Christians and others to even go on?

Now i know everything He allows will ultimately be for His glory...including this false doctrine so there must be a good valid reason. This is what i came up with as to how this false doctrine will glorify God...or at least one of the reasons why:

On judgment day and/or when we're in heaven/new heavens/earth..and also when all things will be revealed...we will obviously know the truth and will be blown away when we actually see all our loved ones and all the people in this world that we thought for SURE would wind up in a literal lake of fire...We will KNOW the truth and this alone will allow us to see that our Lord was FAR more loving and merciful then we ever dreamed was possible....and it will cause us all  to worship and adore Him even MORE so...which of course will ultimately glorify Him.........This has got to be one of the main reasons why He allows it to go on....i would think...

Another reason why He may allow it is that some people DO respond to a fear based gospel and need that in order to get saved.. It obviously works on many, many people so maybe God uses it for that reason also...  There may also be other reasons too as to why He's allowing it..

I like the idea that God will seem all the more merciful/loving/perfect, more than we have ever imagined, which will glorify God (that we, in our limited fallen minds devised a god who would torture his creation forever).
I hesitate to say that God allows ET because some people believe in God for fear of going to hell...because of a few reasons:
1) for ever person that comes to God for fear of hell, there is another person who becomes an atheist because they can't or won't believe in a god who will torture people forever
2) how true is someone's faith if they are only believing as their "get out of hell" card
3) ET totally blasphemes God's character

I think you are right on both counts! And what a great picture in my head, as I was reading your post.. (I've had a tendency to think more about the gravity of the great white throne judgment 'day'. Until reading other's posts on here lately:)

I know in Old Testament days too, God used strong language in his disciplining.. Things like fire atop the mountain when the law was given.

I was thinking also how perhaps, just like he included all under sin (Greek missing the mark) maybe he also included all of us under foolishness too! And this one of course, as it turns out, is rather a big one!

And so too, I think He is letting things run their natural course. Because we can think, we can make choices, and the world is what it is because of all choices which have been made. And I'm thinking some of that applies to the gospel too.

But I really like, "that it will bring even more glory to God"!


I think,sadly, it's true too how 'hell' totally blasphemes God's character.. and keeps many from believing.

    And some harden their hearts against Him, encouraged to do so by this erroneous/totally illogical doctrine and belief. But glory, one day all truth will remain standing supreme when all untruth has fallen! :)

Just listen to christian songs, there aren't any of them that speak about hell. If we believe that the Holy Spirit inspired our worship songs, then it's like he has secured a foundation, a place where the ET stuff does not enter.

Also, in the whole of the bible there is not anyone who expresses fear about loosing someone to hell. And in the NT, there is no mention of any preacher who goes out preaching to save souls from hell.

Salvation is from our sins, not from God's wrath. Salvation is a hospital, as the eastern church says, not a court room. God answers our suffering of being away from Him.

   the seeds  ,  I believe God is fair and good and perfect in every way   ..
So  being fair we have  the seed of truth and the seed of the wicked one  in our earth fleshly  bodies
  It is just what  ''takes over ''   and multiplies in us   , our small little  world of earth   [bodies] 

  How much control does a    soul /human being posses ?   
Only as much grace as God is willing to  give us
  Weeds are  made for the fire     and only the Christ / anointed seed of Hope though faith can endure   this fire and  multiply  in one ..

  Jesus promises to never leave us or forsake us     , it is the only   seed /Word of God made flesh that can  endure to the  end, as Scripture  / a witness states
  the Spirit another powerful witness also   makes known to us .

18 Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.

Gods purpose will come to fruition   ,  His Word will not return to Him void  and without purpose     at all   , those whom have the witness of the Word of truth growing within them and the Spirit of Life,  knows this as truth from the beginning   God set it in motion when Jesus Christ died for all  , that seed[anointing ] Died to bring forth new Life from Himself    , whom are set free from the error of sin  / not knowing  , to me this is the only difference  one would have , that comfort of the Holy Spirit as the Word of God increases with the increase of God  Himself    whom is All in all   , nothing outside of Him can live  or move of have being ...

I agree with you. I believe God has his reasons for all the things that happen in this world. The whols world is made up/filled with good and evil, maybe this hell doctrine is the evil side/opisite of salvation of all. There is always a positive and a negitive in all things, doesn't matter how big or small. To me, this isn't any different.
