Oh yes,

I am well aware of Michael Roods teachings and a bit about his background.
This  self-styled "Messianic Rabbi" is very dynamic, smart and convincing. I was with the world wide church of god many years ago and that is when I heard of him and watched some of his videos. Some of his material is very interesting and insightful.

However I learn't my lesson about self proclaimed evangelists or preachers, many of whom profess exclusivism. They say we "have the truth" and no one else does.

I doubt that "real" Jewish rabbi endorse him.  :declare:

Here are a few links to find out more.

Hey Joeteekay,

I grew up in worldwide - small world! I know what you mean when you talk about self proclaimed evangelists or preachers!

God bless,

:cloud9: I personally don't care about his spiritual "pedigree" or the accuser of the brethren's tactics to discredit what he says based on it.  Like Elijah, we've all been made to eat from unclean birds at some point in our lives, and I trust the Holy Spirit to allow me to glean what I'm supposed to.

Sometimes the "dirtiest birds" are exactly the ones I want to eat with, because if someone has the stamp of approval, generally speaking, they usually haven't suffered for any revelation that sets them apart from the chorus of never ending religious yes men upholding their own traditions of men. Our own Gary Amirault being a prime example, of someone lambasted for digging deeper.

BTW.....I didn't hear anything I don't agree with, it's all in the Word, but I do agree he doesn't have all the truth anymore than anyone else does.  My  :2c: Blessings....

I would not consider testing the record of a man's words and/or claims about himself to be the tactics of the enemy. We must always "test all things, hold fast that which is good". Practice and spirituality are where the rubber meets the road for me. If there are disturbing things in a ministry they should be openly discussed, without automaticly discrediting everything that is taught by that ministry.

I find the idea that the ark of the testimony was under Golgotha and that His blood fell on the actual mercy seat through that crack in the earth kind of speculative. I dont see that as "in the word" altho it is not necessarily disprovable, neither is it proven.

Only time will tell if some of the other claims will come to pass. :o)

:cloud9: My  :2c: .......True story and why I'm not afraid to eat from "dirty birds."

Years ago, I was in a service up north when the Spirit of the Lord gave me a word about how He had placed keys in certain people He had put in our paths, because of the lust of the eyes that He was trying to tear down in the body now. And because of this, He made sure that they were deliberately designed to not "look good" to the fleshly carnal minds of men. But He promised that if we would be led of the Spirit, and look past the flesh to see what was hidden inside, we would be rewarded.

I gave this word to the body, and a few minutes later an 88 year old man who had driven 300 miles by himself to be there (who had crippling arthritis so bad his hands looked like claws, and as such was unkempt looking, clothes disheveled), stood up and began to speak....and speak.....and speak. I noticed the looks of impatience, and people rolling their eyes as went on for about a half an hour. But because of the word I had just been given, I listened to what he had to say, and was given an important key that unlocked some revelation for me. I went up to him after the service and thanked him for coming and for being obedient to speak what was put on his heart. I came upon 4 others in the next few months, all had keys for me, and I only hope I didn't miss any along the way.

And so, no disrespect to anyone, but I didn't click on the other links because I don't read other's people's negative opinions about  someone or what they teach. If I did, I would have never come to this board, as an example. Nor would I have gone to a Benny Hinn conference and received a healing once. If any of what is taught bears witness with my Spirit and the Word, that's all it takes for me. I don't focus on the chaff, only what bears witness that IS in the Word, and there was a lot in it that bore witness for me.

Also; I don't care what he calls himself. One of the best times of fellowship (and the Spirit was all over us), I ever had was with an 80 year old man who had been a "priest" of the Mormons at their "temple" for 15 years. I would have never believed it myself had it not happened, particularly since I knew nothing of their beliefs and firmly believed they were a cult.

Obviously some of it was speculative, and I was not referring to any of it, since it was unprovable by the Word, especially the part about the blood under Golgotha. I also don't listen to anyone's predictions, nor consider them a false prophet if they mess up. Unless He tells ME something to witness to it, it's just another sound out there; possibly interesting to listen to and think about, but not profitable yet. Perfection is only found in Him, and no one is manifesting Him 100% yet, and as such are subject to wrong interpretations, even of valid words from the Lord.

It's nothing personal, but this is just how I glean, and how I approach ANYONE'S teachings. God told Adam he could eat of ALL the trees of the garden, BUT the one, the carnal mind in the midst of them. Again, my  :2c:  Blessings....

I clicked on the link and listened to the whole message, and I also clicked on a couple more messages and listened to them. I think their is some revelation there, and some mixture as well(imo).  But I routinely advise exercising judgment and discernment in all things, especially with dirty birds, :o)

I am 50 minutes in, and as a Christian noob im not really understanding this. I know Christmas and Easter were pagan holidays but i did not realize that our calendar was also a pagan calendar. End of days stuff has always scared me and now this guy is basically saying Jesus is going to come back and nail all of us gentiles on technicality's 2000 years and another language later? This is why i always had a problem with religion i never know who to believe and they all make it sound so scary that your doing it wrong. I'm sure this video would make more sense to me if i knew as much as everyone else here about religion but it just makes me spaz out. lol

Cardinal

:cloud9: Uh no.....he's just pointing out where things got messed up way back when the division came. Most people have no idea that there were no "Christian" churches like we have today. They worshipped in the synagogue wherever possible, where not, in private homes. Paul said he worshipped God according to the way his fathers did, at the end of his life. He went in and preached in synagogues whenever he could.

The paganism that crept in just added fuel to the fire to the Jews who were already in a tizzy if they were the ones that didn't accept Him then. That's one reason why to this day, a lot of them won't accept Him because to them, Hitler was a "Christian" too. They don't have a clue about the differences between the churches.

None of it took God by surprise; He still loves us unconditionally. Don't spaz....it's all good. Everyone has a purpose. His is clearly to point out what was forgotten and lost. Blessings...

It is needful to remember that there is simplicity in knowing Christ for us who are called and chosen. (2 Cor 11:3)

It is all about Christ, not about a man's views.

Also:

Joh_5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Act 17:11  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

As EW said in post #10:

But I routinely advise exercising judgment and discernment in all things.

Be of good cheer brother, we are all learning.

Joh_16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

I am now at the 2 hour mark things started getting really interesting around 1:10. I watched a documentary a while back about a guy who was looking for The Ark of the Covenant and thought it could be in Ethiopia. I have never heard this version seems straight out of Indiana Jones, very cool! Does anyone know how old this video is? It kinda has a 90's quality to it could it really be that old?

:cloud9: I'm not sure how old it is. He has a television show, too, that runs now on cable and he's still alive, is all I know.

I love anything to do with the bones (law) because it's the framework the flesh of Him hangs on, and I see Christ and spiritual truths all through it. Blessings....

Right,jtky...and Jesus kept all these feasts and fulfilled them.  They testify of Him and how He fulfills these feasts/divine appointments of

God.  now..as far as Mr Rude is concerned...God can speak through an ass to turn someone from a foolish course. Rev 2;20-23

Rev 2;2-14  you have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the people to sin by eating

  food  sacrificed to idols.

who can put up with the day of His coming..He will sit like a refiner............

I am watching the "No Pre Trib" video by Michael Rood. I can't tell if he is a ET believer or a Universalist do you know where he stands on UR?

Cardinal

:cloud9: I don't know but I doubt he is a believer in it. Again, his part is the lost Hebraic roots of our faith and that's all I really pay much attention to in his teachings, because THEY line up with scripture. A wise man once said, eat the meat, spit out the bones.   Blessings....
