Hi, everyone
I have been earnestly seeking Gods truth. For quite a while. I read alot on different web sites. I know the Bible says "You shall know them by their love." This is where I've seen the most love. The bible says God is love and His mercy endures forever. It doesn't say God IS wrath and his wrath endures forever. I am a Christain, a follower of the Savoir of the world Jesus Christ.  Finally I can learn to love Him with all my heart all my mind and all my soul and if my forever torment friends and family reject me I know who I can lean on....God.
The Truth will set you free! 😃

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

Hi Caffus,

Glad you found the site.  Love truly is the basics of all spiritual life.  It is the foundation.

Love lifts the haze that can some times come over us from the adversity that we experience in the world.  Love makes it all better, sustains, and shall in the end be all that stands for all eternity.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise!    :)

I`m thankful too that there IS a place to rest our heads in Him and His truth which is proclaimed in this gathering of believers.  And I wholeheartedly agree bout the love here, too. 

My oldest son`s dear friend has joined some religion which is a bible believing one supposedly, and yet now he believes he must reject their friendship because their skin tone is different.  This religion is teaching this young man to despise others.  My son was brokenhearted telling me this and confused asking me how this friend could believe the bible and hate him now.  I just told him that the very first telltale sign his friend is obviously in error is that love went out the window and God is love and so loved/s the whole world. 

So I will be looking into his new " biblical religion " so I can see what lies they have told him and to hopefully bring him back to what is true.....in Christ.

If God`s unfailing love is missing in any doctrine....such as in ETers etc too......it is not of the Truth.

You're right, sis. Your son's friend has been deceived by those preaching to him. We're all brothers and sisters on this planet, children of Adam and Eve, regardless of skin tone. Scripture doesn't say to discriminate by skin tone.

For the entire law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your associate as yourself." (Galatians 5:14)

denominational or religious divisions.  He who does not gather with me[gather all men into Christ=free gift unto all men]

scatters.

   the kingdom of darkness has made a big move in fomenting racial discord of late..as well as religious hatred.....

   we are to no longer know any man 'after the flesh' but of the spirit of God/Christ in them[love]

Sue, that is sad for your son and his friend. I have seen that sort of spirit in action and it is ugly. I know, however, that this circumstance (as well as any rejection you may face from your loved ones Caffus, and you are sure to face some if not many, we all here have) will be used for the good of each of you, in order to produce unconditional love in all of you. This is why Paul was able to give thanks in every circumstance, because he knew this is what God was doing. So even though there is sadness for the moment, He will bring us all great joy in the long run, especially as we heed His call to unconditional love. I can't help but be excited for you, even through the pain. His plan is good. Much love to you all.  :HeartThrob:

...and sigh.  Pls forgive me for posting a link to this religion on your thread, Caffus, but after reading a bit of what they believe, I think the only advantage to gain some ground on this one is the fact they are suppose to be believing the old and new testaments.  I am going to prepare a letter to give my son`s friend with scriptural rebuttal and welcome any wisdom/knowledge/input via PM.  Especially about the 12 tribe stuff they believe.

Thank you all..so much for your encouragement.
I'm praying all the time now and trusting Gods plan more and more. He is worthly of all our praise His love is everlasting and never gives up. When I see hurting people confused people I pray for them. I know He'll make it right.
