Ex 15:26 -
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt

"do that which is right in his sight,"

and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

When? Lord?

Now there is no way that we in our flesh can do this, it
must be "given" .....it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do.
I don't think He is asking us to do it apart from HIM but showing us that
this is the law of Love that Jesus fulfilled. And, according to JOHN 15,
the PLACE where we are chosen for HIM to produce His Fruit thru when
He said "I am the vine, and ye are the branches, ye can do noting w/o me."

Notice the PLACE where this takes place.
Notice the "benefits" of "abiding" in that PLACE.
As compared to what Jesus said in John 15.

"There" will I put none of these "diseases" upon
thee that I have brought on Egypt!!!!!!

Now, let's go to Deut. 12

This is the law of LOVE as long as you live upon the earth!

1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it,

all the days that ye live upon the earth.
The law of love as long as you live upon the earth!  It is contained in Deut. 12.  It is "how" to love the Lord with all your heart, and
soul, and mind. Must be what Jesus was fulfilling.

2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess F38 served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:
Because you are progressing to "THE" Place..........you destroy the names of "that' place.

3 And ye shall overthrow F39 their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

4 Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
See that about the PLACE?  That PLACE is His Habitation!  Not the other places which you are to "destroy!"

6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

7 And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee. 8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
Notice that in verse 9 God tells them they have not YET come to the PLACE He is talking about, but.........when they go over
Jordan, "then" there shall be a PLACE..........it is a PLACE where things are done according to what is right IN HIS SIGHT.  I will
show you that in scripture.

8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes
Do you see that there is a "place" where man does what is right in his own eyes? and a PLACE where things are done'
where things are "right IN HIS EYES."  One is to be destroyed, the other is to be a PLACE of Abundant LIFE, Deut. 11:21 calls
it "heaven ON earth."
HEAVEN on earth? ?

9 For ye are not as YET come to the rest and to the INHERITANCE....,
which the LORD your God giveth you. 10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice F40 vows which ye vow unto the LORD:
It is a PLACE of rejoicing!
12 And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
Yet it is a PLACE where the Levite is NOT to be forsaken, but he must not YET be aware of this part of the INHERITANCE that is blessing him
because he is within your gates...........if you LOVE the Lord with all your heart, you will both rejoice together!

13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14 But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:

18 But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.
As long as you live upon the earth, thou shalt destroy that other place, and never forsake the Levite.  Take heed God says of this.
20 When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.

21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after. 22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.

24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the Lord
when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
Now did you notice that in verse 8 they were doing "what was right in their own eyes" but in this NEW PLACE, that God was
leading them to, they were told they would be DOING what was right in HIS EYES.

26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose: 27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh. 28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God. 29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest F41 them, and dwellest in their land; 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. 32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it

.
Now notice "this" scripture again............talking about "doing" that which is right in the sight of God.

Ex 15:26 -
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

One more:

1st Kings 11:38 And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways
and "do that which is right in my eyes" then I will build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

Wow!

Jesus fulfilled this law of LOVE.
Where "is" the PLACE of Love?

Do you ever wonder what "they" who war against you  are doing?
when "they" tempted Jesus, or tried to?
Truth causes things to "manifest."
Is this how they tempted Jesus to trap him in his words?

Who are "they"?

Plain and simple: They are what God created...

But LOVE.......cannot be tempted of evil.....
were they trying to get Him to "say" something?

LOVE is always misunderstood, disallowed indeed of men.
It was misunderstood by man BC, and AD.

But where is the PLACE of Love?

The "place" one is free, is "in" the Spirit.
There he is free to love UNconditionally, here the world calls most often for "justice"
rather than mercy. He that departs from "evil" by loving, makes
himself a prey.

Hast thou faith? Have it unto thyself and unto God...
why?
why can't you just tell
everyone?

Because there is a PLACE where you can,
but where is that PLACE?
And why do you
think God is soooooooooo emphatic that we "find" it?
Even the book of Deut. discusses it!

It is then in the place allowed. It is the PLACE of the burnt offering which He is the
continual burnt offering.

It must be Spirit to Spirit, cannot be mind to mind only for...it is like letter
"there"....because that which is flesh, "is" flesh, but that which is 'Spirit' "is" Spirit and
Love NEVER fails. Never!

It "must" give HIM all the glory, for that is the only place where it is allowed
in its fullness to BE!

Love. It encompasses the whole world, and that is too much for...the first

man to BE because he is justice minded.

Love........
It is the realm of the new heavens, not the justice ones.

So what did Jesus
die to?
He died to justice.
He chose mercy.
He "could have" called ten
thousand angels. I'm sure they would have "rescued HIM" from His Love.

Yet His LOVE allowed His visage to be marred. Misunderstood.
Disallowed indeed of men.
He entered in "where it was allowed."
Where mercy triumphed OVER justice.
Where no man can hinder.
He was the Saviour, showing us the WAY to salvation!

Can we take up our cross and follow His thinking?
Knowing that it leads to LIfE? and LIFE more abundantly?
Even in "this" life!

He must increase........John Baptist said, and I must decrease.
Is this what John saw? Is "this" the head he lost? Did he move from mind
to 'Spirit" from justice to love? or mercy?
Just how much mercy do you think
Jesus had that day?
Was it the mercy He had had with the Father from the
beginning?
Did He become "manifest" to show it plainly to man?
He did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.

Nice Post Red

Love is the key and agree that BC and AD His Unconditional Love is misunderstood.

He Loved us first, and how many forget that.  What does first mean?  How about beginning.

Blessings

:cloud9: Good post, RLV.....that scripture about not putting any of diseases of Egypt upon those that follow His statutes and His commandments, is where He showed me the glorified body principle in the OT. That includes the death of the firstborn = death of the (first) natural body. Blessings to all......
