I was asked about Bible prophecy by a 'scoffer' and here's what I told them (wrote) - [Another place where I want to post it requests back links to other uses of articles to prevent plagiarism, so since I wanted to also post it here, I'm doing it early so I can put this link in it, thanks for bearing with me.]

Jesus to the Jews (and to His disciples)
"nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom (WW's) and then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you"(holocaust) - but "there will be a remnant" OT (survivors) "and all nations will hate you" (Israel) Jesus, Mt 24

.."then many false teachers will rise up" (I'll say!) "and" (therefor) "lawlessness will abound." (still Mt 24, Jesus)
- Daniel wrote (500's B.C.?) "knowledge will increase and many will travel to and fro"

...there will be "men's heart failing them for fear for things coming upon land and sea.." Jesus, Mt 24

Another interesting prophecy about late days of man's empires, was Jesus said one day "see all these?" referring to the temple complex "not one stone shall remain upon another" yet the Wailing Wall still stands. Daniel prophesied a "taking away of the daily sacrifice" (place of? the wailing wall where prayers are offered every day, one day being taken away? a major landmark/sign to note, in late days prophecy??) Dan 12:11

Written 90 A.D. - War was "given a long sword".. Some versions say "great sword" - the split atom, which is also Rev 6:12-17 (a blend of its first and its last.)
 
- Then as warfare it's paused, Rev 7:1... ..Says it was originally done by a two horned (seats?) office, rev 13:13 (aka, 1954, little boy and fat man) - Ezekiel 38(?) speaks of such also.

The mass grave, Rev 6:8 (hades/the grave follows this horseman of the apocalypse #4)
-- wild beasts (barbarians?) associated with pestilence and the mass grave..

...limited thermal nuclear, Ezekiel (600 B.C.?)

Big thermal nuclear to? and from? the Middle East? Rev 16:14-16 known as the bowls.. final results of letting 'free-will'/choice run its course..

But prior to - drought.. Rev 12:15 & Luke 23:28,31 "what will they do in a dry leaf" - "earth will swallow a flood"/proliferation, rev 12:14)

Global economic collapse ..the golden harlot (greek pornos & to sell (via?) is "fallen! fallen!" .."enchants and seduces all seven hills upon earth"/continents.. the "kings of the earth (politicians) are in bed with her.." Rev chapters 17 & 18

A massive army making its way from the land of the East.. (China? is amassing quite an army they say)

A world governing body of many heads ("big beast") steps up/ is given breath / life (authority) when the Rev 13:13 two horned office ("little beast") steps in or signs on..

Jesus also said, which so many miss, "if I be lifted up form the earth, I will draw all to me". David the psalmist wrote "all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD and all families of the nations will worship before you" Ps 22:27

I almost forgot! the prophesied dispersal throughout the world of the Jews and their lacking a homeland for many centuries.. And then in late days of men's empires, being gathered back to the land, and dead bones (the nation) given life... again.. (rising)

You would of course, have to read these verses for yourself to see what you honestly think.. They were all written many centuries ago.. It's not like it would read out like "the stock market will crash on such and such a day" ..I believe there's a warning concerning rising clashes between peoples, groups, and ethnicities.. "man against man".. I believe helicopters and tanks are in Rev chap 9.. as animals/creatures.. or rather insect and animal..

Either way.. true or not true.. if there be intelligence behind the universe and life, that intelligence can only be perfect, or it too would fade.. therefor the 'end' result of all this (man's doings and history) can only be the best one possible.

  I   sure  they could read 2 Peter 3 and know its them  scoffing  as to  will  there be a literal fire   ?

Now, beloved, this second epistle I write to you -- these things by which I awaken your pure minds by memory,

2That you may remember the words that were spoken before by the holy Prophets and the commandments of Our Lord and our Savior, which were through the Apostles,

3And as you knew this first, that in the end of days, scoffers would come who scoff while they walk according to their own lusts,

4And they say, "Where is The Promise of his coming? For from when our forefathers fell asleep, everything continues in the same way from the beginning of creation."

5For they disregard this when they please: That the Heavens which were from the first, and The Earth, from the water and by the water, arose by the word of God, 6By which the world which then was, lay in water and was destroyed. 7But the Heavens and The Earth which are now, by his word are stored up as for fire and are kept for the day of judgment and of the destruction of wicked people.

8But you shall not disregard this one thing, beloved: "One day is to THE LORD JEHOVAH as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as one day."

9THE LORD JEHOVAH does not delay his promises as people consider delay, but he is patient for your sakes, and because he is not willing that any person would perish, but that every person would come to conversion.

10But the day of THE LORD JEHOVAH comes as a thief in which the Heavens suddenly pass away, but the elements being set on fire shall be destroyed and The Earth and the works that are in it shall be discovered*.

11As therefore all these things are to be destroyed, it is right for you to be in your way of life as those who are holy and in the worship of God,

12While you expect and eagerly desire the coming of The Day of God in which the Heavens, being tested by fire, shall be dissolved, and the elements, when set on fire, shall melt.


13But according to his promise, we look for The New Heavens and The New Earth, in which dwells righteousness.*

14Therefore beloved, as you expect these things, take pains that you shall be found without spot and without defect before him in peace.


15And you shall consider that the patience of THE LORD JEHOVAH is salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him,

16Just as in all of his letters he spoke about these things, in which are things difficult for the intellect, which those who are without teaching and unstable, pervert, as also the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.


17You therefore, beloved, as you have known beforehand, guard your souls, lest you go after the deception of those who are without The Law and you fall from your own stability.


18But grow in grace and in the knowledge of Our Lord and Our Savior, Yeshua The Messiah, and of God The Father, to whom the glory is now and always, even to the days of eternity. Amen.
