I have some Terry MacAlmon  which I like a lot..  Anyone else here listen to him?  If not I would highly recommend his music. I've been blessed by it. An album I would highly recommend is "The Sound of Heaven".

I haven't heard of him but I'll look him up since I have Yahoo Juke Box.   :bgdance:

If you want to hear a neat song its "Seventy Times Seven" by David Meece.  I got it on Yahoo music.
Let me know what you think. Also "The Promise" by Michael Card.  I have Jukebox also.
Not to long ago I found a Song I have not heard since the Seventies.  Its called "By the Rivers of Babylon" by Boney M.

Hi, fullarmor,

I did look these up.  Yahoo Juke Box and Rhapsody are both great for trying out music!  I was already familiar with the songs by David Meece and Michael Card  but I hadn't heard of the other two.  I was humming the Babylon song all through the day - very catchy!
I go through moods...  Weird moods!  :happy3:
Like, maybe I'll listen to Burl Ives one day or Judy Collins the next but sometimes it's a nothing but a Newsboys day!   :bgdance:
I like what ever touches me spirit, soul and body!

(For anyone who cares to know....) I am pretty into Dion lately. He put out some gospel albums which I believe have a real anointing. At the moment I'm listening to a song called "Healing," where he says:

Healing is faith and it's prayer
It's knowing that He's always there
Healing is light in the dark
It's knowing His forgiveness in your heart
Healing is hope and it's dreams
And through Jesus you can see
That healing's just another word for love.

Blessings!

Hey, Brian!

Where did you find the albums?  My husband used to do some of those songs... Let's see...

You are the center of my life.

and

This is my prayer for you.

I guess we lost Dion's tapes along the way somewhere.   :dontknow:  I didn't recognize the words to the song you posted...

Yep! I like Terry MacAlmon and have actually met Michael Card twice in person - a super song writer and a real, down to earth guy.  I'm amazed at David Meece's talent too and I can't forget Twila Paris.  BTW, her sister is named Starla - would you name your kids Twila and Starla?  In the last ten years, I have bought CD's by 4Him, Third Day, Casting Crowns and let's not forget Bon Jovi! :rocker

Here's a link you can order through:

There's another near the bottom of the same page: Only Jesus/Inside Job.
Together, it's four albums, which is about all, I think. They've blessed me much!

And then there's Phil Keaggy...  Just too much talent there....  What a gift..

Blessings!

Yeah, Don Francisco - Old school, but I liked him too.  I had an actual 33 1/3 record album that I think was entitled "Forgiven", but the cursed dog ate it (and others).  I liked "He's Alive" too.

I think Don had a very unique talent, the way he told stories with music. What ever happened to him?

P.s. You're welcome Hopeful!

Don is still around.  He has a web site- Rocky Mountain ministries- something like that.  My husband still sings and plays his songs.

:cloud9: I can listen to anything that doesn't offend my Spirit, but I prefer to listen to contemporary Christian. Most of the time I don't know the artist, I just love the sound and the anointing on it. Blessings.....
