What do you mean, in more detail?

When examining a topic, such as a period of aionian kolassis(correction after lifew in the body), or whether there is souls sleep or whatever, my personal belief is that our conclusions must satisfy all the scripoture on the topic. When one verse appears to contradict another, we have to look deeper, gain context, search for alternatives that allow a seamless "whole cloth/whole counsel) of God. On this topic there is much debate on the site. I am not saying I fully understand it- but when I reach a conclusion on it, I am sure it will satisfy all that is written, or I won't be satisfied :o)

1 Cor 3;15 is just one verse I can think of, and perhaps matthew 25:46, that present another possible conclusion to the one propsed by cranny(not saying cranny is wrong or trying to present a doctrine)

1 Cor 3:10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, [d]precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test [e]the quality of each man's work. 14 If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

I personally believe for believers there is no "after life" correction, the blood of Jesus has covered and cleansed all their sins- but I do think some will enter eternal life "as passing through the fire"- which imo IS the Great White Throne( paul says, "For each of us must stand before the judgment seat of Christ to be judged according to our deeds"). I think unbelievers who do not bow at the great white throne will experience a period of correction- the lake of fire, which I see as a family intervention, immersed in the light/fire of God until every hidden thing is revealed and the knee bows.

I also think these things are seen thru a glass darkly :o)
