Did Jesus really die for our sins?

The way I see this, mankind is born with a "judgemental by the flesh" attitude. Judge not that ye be not judged.
It is called overcoming to NOT do this.  It takes the Spirit. That Spirit comes from the "RESURRECTED" Jesus
which flows ETERNALLY from the throne to which He ascended after his death and burial. The PLACE where
He went and is now is the same PLACE He came from "before" he was made in the likeness of man.  When He
was on the cross, He nailed something to the cross, crossed it out as far as any of it ever counting for "our righteousness."
That is why "works" of mankind mean nothing to the Father.  He honors His Son, and when  we "hear" from HIM,
we know it is the Resurrected ONE that we hear from.  He was "given" a Name above all names.  In the last days,
He shall speak to us by His Son.  Greater than angels, greater than flames of fire of which His ministers are made.
It was His promise made to us when He was made in the likeness of man, when Jesus said: "And the BREAD I will
give it for the LIFE of the world!"  There is a world in our hearts set there by HIM, Eccl says and it is that world
that needs HIS LIFE!  His LIFE is what saves us.  The death of HIM is what "reconciled" us.He did that while we were
yet sinners.  But the LIFE coming to
us from the throne SAVES us! And we are promised that LIFE!

Romans 5:10

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
The King James

Hi Red,

Have you read the topic in "Bible Questions" on "Did Jesus die to appease an angry God"? What are your thoughts on this subject?

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Thanks for those scriptures Laren. Isn't it funny how you can read the same verse dozens of times and not see a couple of words, such as "YOUR MIND".  Never thought of that before.

Having been in the hospital recently, I am limited on my time I can spend right now.  No,
I have not read it later but will perhaps in a few days.  Thanks.

I know, it's wild.

What i've really been thinking about lately, is the "carnal mind" is a self "identity" based on poor performance.  Failing, eating of the fruit when we're told not to, we then develop a "false identity", and become enemies in our mind.  We run, we hide, we fight like "hell" to not be exposed.  When all along, running to Love, exposed and naked is what we can now do.  the veil is torn.

Love covers all.  Love doesn't define us based on performance.  LOVE is.

Of course He died for our sins.

1 Corinthians 15:2-3
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
