If ET's are right, That scripture is inaccurate. If Hell exists, their will be pain and tears, unless God banishes the unsaved to a place outside of his jurisdiction, which means he didn't create everything, so that's another contradiction. Maybe the pain and tears won't exist in the Holy City, but quarantining the elect does not invalidate the existence of pain and torment for the unsaved.

Many Calvanists believe that God will modify the memories of the elect in Heaven so they forget about their loved ones who are in Hell. However, the Bible mentions nothing of the sort.

Even if that is true, if their is anyone feeling eternal pain, then tears and pain will continue to exist. Their are many things said in regards to Hell that are not in the Bible.

The problem is that isn't what God says. He doesn't make the distinction, they choose to make the distinction. All he says is their will be no more tears and pain, which isn't true if Hell exists.

Yes, UniversalSceptic, if there is no more tears and pain, there cannot be a hell of punishment anymore. Hell is anyway mistranslated from Sheol the grave, which is just the abode of the dead. I heard it called a treasure chest of God where all humans after death go to wait until God resurrects them. Because humans are valuable as they are in the image of God and in His likeness, He shows us in Jesus how God takes the place of one of us as a baby and doesn't separate himself from our lowliness in our sufferings. That means Jesus is God Himself and this is how the afterlife is decided. When Jesus is God Himself, then God is not simply some judge, then He is more of a Savior. Seeing God as a judge is to have mistaken views of salvation entirely. Who would drag a sufferer before a court, and everyone is a sufferer in death... he is helped up by a Savior who himself died and suffered and rose from this dark thing.... no more judgment.... everyone gets faith that becomes part of salvation....
