A while back there was a discussion about this and somebody posted a link about paganism in the church and how it related.

I searched for the thread but could not find it.

Anybody remember the link?

It was taken down by the originator of the thread.  He at first posted a sort of apology, saying he "didn't know so much" and apparently wanted to re-group and change directions of his postings on the boards.  He then put the whole thread in the Recycle bin (deleting all posts in that thread) and reintroduced himself as a "new member" in the Welcome thread - starting over.

..if no one minds, I'd like to respond to the verse quoted in the title!

..no catching up on the latest news, however during a church, for the Lord, meeting..

Of course in that day, and in that place, if women would have suddenly become leaders.. could've upset an apple cart or two, including perhaps the gospel message.. (if anything can..?)
