New Heaven and New Earth

Rev 21:1  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea no longer is.
Rev 21:2  And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.
Rev 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
Rev 21:4  And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain any more; for the first things passed away.

The End of the first Heaven and Earth:
Mat 24:35  The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away, never!

The perfect creation:
Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Gen 1:4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Gen 1:9  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Gen 1:24  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Gen 1:25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Gen 1:29  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Gen 1:30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Gen 1:31  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Gen 2:1  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.


Notice a few things here:

• The earth was without form and void and darkness was over the face of the deep. imo, this seems as though the earth, which is already there, has undergone great distruction.
• God created the light, and seperated it from the Darkness. imo, this would be Jesus's kingdom of light, in which he was just victorious in overcoming the kingdom of darkness
• All the creatures are created "after their kind", in other words, they had already existed
• All creatures are to be herbivours, and ALL trees can be eaten from
• And God saw everything He made, and behold, it was VERY good

The only issue I see with this is the seas; for Revelation mentions there will be no more seas, however, this could just mean there are no more nations, that the whole world will be under one King - Jesus Christ. It could also be that the vast oceans won't be around, just smaller seas, like lakes and rivers.

imo, Seeing the new heaven and new earth of Genesis 1 and first part of Genesis 2 seems to make perfect sense!

"the first shall be last and the last shall be first"

Also, it really allows for God's seventh day of Rest!  :dsunny:

 :cloud9: Some thoughts to ponder.....the word for "beginning" in Genesis 1 can also mean "firstfruits". So it could be read, "In the firstfruits, God created the heaven (mind of Christ) and the earth (glorified body)."

If we understand that God always deals with a remnant first (firstfruits), and that we are His creation as mirrored by the earth (including sun, moon, and stars), we can also view the "earth" being without form (Christ not formed in us yet) and void (devoid of the Spirit), and the Spirit of God moves across the FACE (denotes nature) of the waters (denotes peoples).

When the Spirit of God truly prophesies (same thing as Him speaking things into existence) through an individual to another in the body, it is the same as the Spirit of God moving upon the face of the waters, changing the form and capacity for containment of His Spirit (we decrease, He increases), thereby changing the face or nature of the individual both outwardly and inwardly.

The core of prophecy is to see and speak those things that are not, as though they were (same as in a DECREE by a King), and when THAT BREAD is cast upon the waters, it will not return void (devoid of the Spirit), but is transformed into what was spoken by the living Word. This principle is what brings miracle healings into being, ie. the calling forth of what is not, as though it were.

This is also the "seed faith" principle (tiny mustard seed), because it takes very little faith to speak what is seen and heard through the Spirit of God, knowing that if He spoke it (to you), He will perform it. By this, we can move mountains (flesh) and cast them into the sea (what leaves us goes into outer court realm/swine who will eat anything, the husk and the grain).

This is why as it's getting "darker out there" (wheat and tares raised up together), while those that are pressing in are increasing Him/light, and why we cannot judge them or by the same measure we will be judged (man who was forgiven much and then wouldn't forgive the smaller debt/same as son who was not overjoyed over the one who left the swine). That is a very intense insight. So do you think that the two creation events of Genesis one and two differ in that the first is a spiritual kingdom, and the second is the earthly kingdom? Or do you see something else going on? Interested in more of your insight!  :smile:
