When I look into the fire
I see people I used to know
I see my son,who took a path I could not follow
It makes me full
It makes me hollow
When I look into the fire

When I look into the fire
I see a river of days gone past
And future days arriving fast
Until the day that takes us all at last
To a burning dawn
In the eyes the Son
When I look into the fire

Fire warms,
Fire blooms
Fire lights,
Fire consumes
Fire devours
Fire transforms

When I look into the fire
I see the end is the beginning of
Universal love
As the sparks rise higher
Then disappear
I see the end of all hate
The end of all fear
When I look into the fire

EW....I have this picture of you in my mind..sitting around the campfire and gazing into it....

in deep contemplation...then reaching for your guitar..leaned against a log...and putting it to music.
