Hi, everyone. I've been visiting this site for some time, but just signed up today for the forums.
I'm from Canada, and it is still cold and covered with snow here!
I have some problems with my eyes, but hopefully I can manage those strange letters down below to authenticate. :)
(The sound thingie doesn't seem to like me.)
I really like the articles I've been reading and appreciate this site being available. Thank you!

Well, Im happy to be the first of many I'm sure will welcome you to this awesome site, as I also experienced only a few weeks back!
I'm in not so cold Australia, longing for some cooler weather...

Hi Tapioca,

Welcome.
No more strange letters after 5 (?) posts.
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Tapioca

Thank you for the warm welcome, you two!
Nope, no more strange symbols upon posting now.
Ah, Australia! That's a place I've loved since we studied it way back in fourth grade. It was wondrous to me as a little girl.

Welcome from a fellow Canuck in south-western Ontario.

Welcome from central Florida. It got way down into the forties here last night. Br-r-r. I had to shut an open window and put some heat on this morning.

Welcome, from the Pecos Valley!  Yesterday, the temperature reached the low 80's, and I cranked up the AC for the first time this year.  Summers here are furnace-hot, and winters (mostly) snow-free.  We're soon leaving this neo-Dust Bowl for Kansas City, a good middle-ground between the hot desert and Canada.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus
