Revelation

After reading some of the "revelation" posts, I can find no other place to vent a purely political view. Seeing that within the "revelation" voice/post, some loud and quite political views have been offered. But i state this with selfishness, i find this POTUS to be the most disgusting representative of our Nation in my life time of 69 years. Yet, The LORD has set him in THIS place in time, and all of my vents, are obviously, from my human nature...carnal, without value, but the real fact is i am quite upset as a believer, that such a great nation, is or will be taken down by a man, via reptile, a chameleon, with an orators silver tongue that has been able to sway the masses. Is he THE anit-christ, NO... but i believe he is the shadow of all the anit-christs before and to come... still, he has certainly revealed just how, within a certain amount of time, just how we, as a people along with believers, will be mesmerized by certain meaningless things webbed to  words, will be able to sway the multitudes who have have no idea what the Good News is. Only HE knows.....and we wait...as believers have waited in time past. He Is Risen! That's good enough for me :dsunny:

Chill, Micah.  Don't you know that the other (so quickly forgotten...) candidate also served and serves the same masters?  All this has happened because most people have forgotten God.  Barry Soetoro (aka Barack Hussein Obama) is just an errand boy, taking orders from people whose names you and I have probably never heard spoken.  :sigh:

Rev 17:12 The ten horns of the beast are ten kings who have not yet risen to power. They will be appointed to their kingdoms for one brief moment to reign with the beast. 


Rev 17:13 They will all agree to give him their power and authority. 


Rev 17:14 Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him." 
Rev 17:15 Then the angel said to me, "The waters where the prostitute is ruling represent masses of people of every nation and language. 


Rev 17:16 The scarlet beast and his ten horns all hate the prostitute. They will strip her naked, eat her flesh, and burn her remains with fire. 


Rev 17:17 For God has put a plan into their minds, a plan that will carry out his purposes. They will agree to give their authority to the scarlet beast, and so the words of God will be fulfilled. 

Rev 17:18 And this woman you saw in your vision represents the great city that rules over the kings of the world."

Proverbs says a nation receives the ruler it deserves. After a string of duplicitous cowardly bought and paid for rulers, of which, imo, Mr Obama is neither more or less "evil"- our nation, which is quickly drifting into chaos because we are duplicitous and cowardly and greedy as a people, is reaping what it sows. Perhaps there are enough intercessors still active, perhaps the purposes of God require our presence in the moment, but I believe we have performed our primary purposes and like the gourd that kept the shade off of the head of Jonah, we will be moved aside so that Israel can see the glory of their maker in these last days and be restored through His faithfulness in their affliction(personal opinion). But we have the good news, as you said Micah, and the good news is predestined to destroy the works of the devil and usher in the new age of the Lord Jesus Christ. There's a NEW DAY COMING!!!! :o)

Whilst ever a country is full of people who have lost what it means to be free  freedom will be on short supply.

Freedom isn't free, Christ paid dearly for ours. Darkness can only ever exist in the absence  of light.

We must always love our leaders with all the love we have to give. We meaning every person who can see the darkness through spiritual eyes.
