Could somebody explain this to me. Is this the tribulation? According to the NSA (Snowden) the government knows about a huge coronal mass ejection, this month!! Any wisdom on this?

Hi Jock,

A CME isn't  a tiny local beam that miraculously hits sinners only
It's like the sunlight that lights up* half the planet. It does matter on which side of the planet you are at that time. (night/day).

I think one of the best bits of proof is checking the travel schedules of the wealthy and powerful.
If a CME will cause havoc, Obama would hide in his bunker instead of traveling.

All that said I didn't read Snowdens proof. Many blogs bring news about the half of mankind getting extinct real soon. But we are still alive and kicking.

Also don't rule out pole shift either. If or when another large cosmic body comes into our universe it will cause pole shift especially if it is larger than our planet. The North pole has been moving and will continue to move until it reaches the point of the flip and then it will move quickly sort of like moving two magnets together. If you move one magnet close to another with same polarities one or both with flip at some point and its fast. This is about my limit on this subject but had to add it here.

Ya know guys, sometimes I think that we know more than is good for us! WWings, I wouldn't for one minute think that God would send a "sinner only" calamity. I am a sinner fortunately forgiven.

What I was wanting to do, was to enquire of how this plays out in God's plan and how CME's and Pole Shift's etc fit into the prophetic timetable.

Thanks for putting up the links but it may be that we will have a nuclear war first!

I do find Biblical evidence for abnormal outer-space phenomena to occur during the closing era of this eon.
Revelations 6:13-14 - "And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.  Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place."

Matthew 24:29 - "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken."

Even though I think that the dispensationalist understanding of the Tribulation is probably correct, I differ from many dispensationalists in that I do not expect to see global chaos immediately before the tribulation. 
1 Thess. 5:2-3 - "For you yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. When they say, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape!"

Every time there is a war, natural disaster, economic failure, epidemic, etc., many prophecy teachers say that it is a sign that the Tribulation is imminent. But the crisis runs its course and the Tribulation does not come. I think that Matthew 24:6-8 refers to the first half of the Tribulation, rather than the years preceding it.

Hi Graph,

The problem is that many interpretations fit.

The angels are called star. The HS is called wind. Israel is represented by figs. Mountains/high places are places of authority. Kings are mountains.
That's also a possible interpretation..... The main advantage of that one is that it uses things that are used often throughout the Bible instead of introducing new things.
