So I discovered this damnation fundamentalist religious lunatic who spends most of her time on Youtube bothering atheists with the damnationist nonsense of threatening them with eternal torment and consistently mocking them by saying things like you know god exists you just reject him because you want to sin and saying bullcrap like god didnt create hell the sin of man did or god doesnt sent people to hell people sent themselves to hell. Anyway I decided to take it upon myself to speak to many of the atheists by telling them to ignore the crap coming out if this persons mouth and let them know this person doesnt know what she is talking about and that she doesnt speak for the rest of us. And while many atheists have thanked me for provided them with some sanity this apparently my actions have gotten under this persons skin to the point where she said one of the most dumbest things I have heard a damnationist or fundie ever say before and is just simply amazing me.

"It is plain the N.T. Scripture teaches that man has a spirit or soul which departs from his body at death and which lives eternally either in Heaven or in Hell. Oh because it does not work for you it must not be true. What an ignorant man you are. You can believe those who twist Scriptures such as Liberal here, and say that Hell does not exist. Or you can take the warning from the Bible that God will see the ultimate justice is ultimately done. Lies from Liberal or truth from God."

Father hardens the hearts of those He chooses, and Father leads others to the truth all in accordance with His will.  Try as we may, we can't open eyes or ears.  Just trust that there is reason behind all that appears insane.   :HeartThrob:

  speak the truth in love. only God can change a heart.
The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2

Such statements follow long-held assumptions, and sometimes go to extreme extremes.  Once in a while, a fundie or atheist will go back and examine these assumptions, by the Grace of God.  Thanks be to Him, I got drawn/dragged into the Kingdom even though I had been a confident atheist for ten years or so.  I can say with confidence, since I spent a lot of time in the dark side, that harangues and insults do not help, and those making them do not serve the cause of Christ.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

I think it is the church doctrine of torture forever in fire that has a lot to do with folks getting turned off to God. That is not the evangel that folks need to hear which answers a lot of questions I had about things that didn't make sense until I learned the truth. I think an accurate translation of scripture and a proper understanding of it reveals a very different God than what is taught by church doctrine, a God who is a loving Father who would never do what the church claims he will do.

Her Youtube account is named elibeth1211 and if you just look at her feed you will see how this women spends most of her time going on to numerous videos posted by atheists and particularly clips from a show called The Atheist Experience where she consistently goes to spread her damnationist nonsene and does nothing but openly mock and insult atheists because she thinks their all foolish lying products of Satan and be warned this lady is about as religious brainwashed as you can get so engaging in conversation with her can be frustrating.

Quote from Aaron Clark's demonizer, ""It is plain the N.T. Scripture teaches that man has a spirit or soul which departs from his body at death and which lives eternally either in Heaven or in Hell"

She is plainly ignoring Jesus that gives eternal life. I've heard many ignorant preachers say, "You're going to live eternally, it's just a matter of where heaven or hell.

It makes meaningless the words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus when he says, "and they that believe and trust in me, to them I will give eternal life. Does a non-believer have eternal life? ET'ers say yes. UR say they will when they become a believer either in this life or the next. :Chinscratch:

There are several things wrong with her doctrine :sigh::
(1) "hell" is to be destroyed - cast into the lake of fire. Therefore it will not last forever.
(2) The lake of fire is the second death. But death is the last enemy to be destroyed. It won't last forever either.
(3) How can one say you might "live eternally" in hell?  Hell is a mistranslation of Hades - the grave. Is "hell" and "live eternally" not a contradiction of terms?

The woman's worse off that an atheist!

aaronclark1989

This woman can be very disheartening to anyone who dares to criticize anything she stands for and after I told my story to an atheist about how is was the religious nonsense that people like her spread once gave me concepts of suicide she then told me that is was my fault for being my being suicidal.

That's pretty standard stuff Aaron.  Most people who preach hell and hell-fire need you to be responsible for your own problems regardless of their role in it.  I think this is one of the reasons why hell is so appealing to them.  Everyone goes there by their own choice and choices.

The assumption is that non-one is in hell for any other reason than that they sent themselves there.  Everything is your own fault, you have no-one to blame but yourself.  Therefore everything which you did along the way is also your own fault.  (Hell mongers sound a lot like pop psychologists.)  You took the drugs yourself.  You dealt in prostitution and criminal activities for no other reason than that you wanted to.  You always had a choice and you chose the road to hell.  No mitigating circumstances are allowed.

This is one of the reasons I find the concept of hell demoralizing.  There is no mercy from a lot of those who see you going there.  Some of them even take a perverse pleasure in watching you get pulled into 'the pit'.

I think this way they can take credit for making it to Heaven ... it's all based on human effort.  They won, because they are better people, you didn't because you are not as good as they are.

Take heart Aaron, your thoughts of suicide are not based on your being a lesser person.  She'll see that someday.  For now, God isn't ever going to let you go ... ever:  regardless of what she or anyone else thinks or says.
