Why a donkey?

The existence of "fools gold" is prevalent in some Bible studies. We all find "it" and go running to the bank, and the assessor smirks and hands it back with, "Fools gold, sorry." Been to to the assessor many times. :sigh:

So if the numbers add up is it gold or fools gold?

I am very much on the fence regarding numerology and the Scriptures. The reasons are many and varied. This is just me; each of us have our own path to traverse

Please do not take this the wrong way  :friendstu: but I was never able to find the Spirit of Love in the little that I have looked at. This is just me.  :HeartThrob:

What kind of Nuggets have you found? Because if nothing else, I believe Truth is everywhere.  :dsunny:

A certain person in the Bible made a peace offering to his mad brother. He gave him all sorts of stuff and several types of animals except horses. Unfortunately I don't remember names. Not even in which book the story can be found.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem He was king (anointed king the evening before). He was peaceful suffering servant King.
In revelation Jesus rides the 2nd white horse (the first one is satan). And yep, as soon as He arrives on His horse He slays enemies.

I would, and I do consider the word and meaning of humility. I have not given much thought to "Why the Donkey," but humility is a word that comes to my mind.  :2c:
