Highway Billboards

I was out of state this weekend, and as I was driving through Indiana on the way home, I noticed this huge billboard on the side of the freeway that said "Hell is Real." I shook my head then sarcastically replied to the billboard, "Yeah I know, I'm driving through it right now."  :laughing7: No offense to anyone living in Indiana, but it was just a really boring stretch of freeway lol.

But that got me thinking that we should start putting up some UR billboards on the side of the freeway somewhere. Maybe give a UR verse then say "visit tenmaker.org for more info on the glorious gospel. It would take money, but I think it would be a worthy cause.

I like the thought, I've drivin by some real funny(can't use silly) signs on church marque's, most seem to come out of the old Reader's Digest humor. For the life of me I can't think of one right now. Truth on a church marque or a highway billboard probably cause accidents, like WHERE DOES IT SAY "YOU TO HELL WHEN YOU DIE" IN THE BIBLE? Or WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY "ALL MEN WILL NOT BE SAVED"? :dsunny:

Canyon, Texas is also a charming town.  My vote for dreary and boring goes to western Kansas and eastern Colorado, the Land of Disenchantment.

OK, Warhawk, you've got a billboard reading "Hell Is Real" - since it's hard to respect a lie, have you considered painting in the word "NOT" between "Is" and "Real"?  After all, the other side gets to do it to "God Listens," by scrawling in "to Slayer!"  :doh: :laugh: :doh: :laugh: :doh:

Western Montana is beautiful, but it's a huge state so I'm sure it takes a lot of time to get to the nicer part. I agree that eastern Colorado and Kansas are terrible, but I do love Colorado as whole. Iowa is pretty bad as well. I'm not extremely well traveled, but those are the worst parts of the country I've been through.

We need a "mountaintop" from which to shout the victorious gospel of UR - be it billboards, radio/tv ads, fliers, tracts, yard signs, or whatever.

I believe some of us have the ability and are closer to a mountain top than many of us who believe the Truth of the Word, and just need a leading from the Teacher. The waiting is tough, but necessary, I desire and am praying for that mountain top as I am sure all of us are.
My question, amidist all the other voices of denominations that had, are, have, and continue to seek more voice to propagate a false doctrine, why has the voice of  1Ti 2:3  for this is right and acceptable before God our Saviour,
1Ti 2:4  who doth will all men to be saved, and to come to the full knowledge of the truth;

not found in the media of radio and TV?
Is it money? Probably. I have no idea of how to bring this word out to be heard. A post on billboards on this forum raised my hype and happiness. I live in a very small community and have visited assemblies and at a bible study, which on that night was on Gal 1:8  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
I really did not know what to do. I know if I spoke to these good people who believe with all their heart in Jesus, that my words would disrupt and cause discord and there would be pain. I was sorry I did not speak, but I also felt that my silence was the way to go. To say the least it is perplexing. And the words of David came to mind, as it often does, "How long Lord? How long?"
