1 Timothy 2

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Personally, I find this teaching to be an example of how opinions - even with the powerful impressions and impulses of the Truth of the Spirit on the mind and heart - played such a great part in governing the following traditions based on them.

In my opinion, such was the attitude in general of men towards Women in the times and customs of that era and culture. Women were generally treated as chattel.

I do not agree with this for today's women and I do not agree with it for yesterday's women, even under the circumstances. Indeed, I often find women much closer to understanding and portraying the GOD who is LOVE than many men - and it is revelation of God that is of greatest desire to me, although it is the words of men and women that can keep the expansion of the Spirit in check.

I believe that it is because of the terrible attitude of men towards women of those times that JESUS the CHRIST of GOD was male because nobody would have listened to a female, and The SAVIOUR of The WORLD - The REDEEMER of ALL - had a difficult enough job already to hand in attempting to teach a new and higher revelation of God's LOVE to those who knew it not.

All Glory to the Perfect Person, my Saviour and LORD, CHRIST JESUS - "The express Image of His PERSON", whose words are LIFE and TRUTH.

Peace.
"A few drops of blood renew the whole world, and become for all men that which rennet is for milk, uniting and drawing us into one". "Christ is like leaven for the entire mass, and having made that which was damned one with himself, frees the whole from damnation".

Jesus NEVER belittled a woman. In fact he did not seem to draw any division between men and women.

Perfect love doesn't have a gender, nor an agenda    :dsunny:

yep....seen them...had them speak t me..both genders......let us make man in our image..male and femle

  made he them.

man [the salvation of] is the glory of God..the glory of man is the woman/how so? the womman births the

begotton son of God..that IS the glory! even 'christ' in you..the hope of glory.

the woman's glory is her hair/how so? see test of jealousy and the woman conceives...to us a son is born

goodnews for all men! note the crown on the womans head that births the manchild.

now a womn was to have her head covered..on account of the angels...12 stars cover the woman's head

...becoz...the woman's desire shall be unto her husband..and He shall dominate her[see test of jealousy]

note that since 1950's women have uncovered their heads=time of test of jealousy......

the woman learns in silence..if she wants to know anything she ask's her husband at home[coz in Babylon's

churches she's generally not allowed speak ..coz they got a preacher on the pulpit.and they don't generally

have time to nswer questions..and the woman ask's her husband...the bridegroom Jesus Christ...and He

teaches her personally at home..for He feeds and cherishes His own flesh.

the test of jealousy[hour f test' that He keeps her through]  her hair let down and uncovered.......

she drinks the bitter waters with the curses in them..and is unaffected.....that she has Not turned away

from her husband[christ] and her thigh does not fall aaway nor her belly swell...coz though she drank this

bitter poison doctrines it did not eneter her heart..and defile her[they shall drink poison and not be hrmed]

the blessing of the thigh[hand of blesser plced under thigh] is a blessing of seed/progency........

   we may of been in babylon with it's dctrines..but it didn't enter our hearts...how many of you said;

'I just couldn't love a Gd like tht"? it was fear.

the thigh nd breast portion went to the preistly class...to bring forth 'righteous offspring' unto the Lord.

male and female genders are permanently fixed of God.

Forgive me if I paraphrase a thought that I posted on this forum before.

Genesis 1:27
And God created man (mankind) in His image (tselem => likeness); in the image of God He created him (mankind), a male and a female He created them.

As GOD made Man in HIS own Image, we can deduce, if we so desire, that the Image of GOD from which Man was created is both male and female.

I believe God's overall plan to include the restoration of the perfect soul which is aided by the way humanity is created by God, although humanity has misunderstood, marred and perverted the optimum path.

I suggest that the man is meant to look at the higher qualities of the woman - sacrifice, selflessness, tenderness, patience and devotional love - and desire to emulate the reflection of such qualities and draw nearer to the Divine-ideal.

Similarly, I suggest that the woman, ignoring the apish characteristics associated with the lesser side of the man, can catch the reflection of the higher qualities - stability and strength, courage and the executive power to act in times of need.

The ideal, in my opinion, is that each should draw strength from the other. Although certain qualities may be associated with a feminine or a masculine body, yet, through companionship, each may catch the reflected light from the other, and in so seeing its beauty, they long to make it their own.

But, even with all this, there is yet only one thing which can make the thing complete, only one thing that can give the finishing touch to that which has been brought together by much discipline of self: And that is the purity, the faith, and the trust of a little child.

These last qualities must be there, these characteristics are essential to live the life that God has predestined for His children...

Mark 10:15
Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child (paidion => young child), he will in no way enter into it

"Eternity" is a "long time without end" and LIFE cannot be stagnant because by its very definition LIFE must be LIVING and to LIVE means being ALIVE to GOD, and GOD is always giving.

I dare say it would be foolishness for a eartbound human being to attempt to comprehend what LIFE will be like many "eternities" from here...

Peace.

Wow Laspost that was an amazing response  :HeartThrob:

The bond between a man and a women in marriage makes both complete. The (should) complement the other making the union stronger than the two alone.

Paul had some pretty strong things to say about women, perhaps that's why some say he was never married. I remember being told once that it is the husbands role to love, honor and protect his wife. To give his life for if need be. The wife is not required to die for the husband.

But clearly, we live in a different time and place now. There are many places in the world today where women are treated as less than dogs. It has been stated that this is a requirement from the Scriptures.

So are they right, or are we; seeing women more as an equal even if in different qualities. I think only God can answer that. I think most Christian men today who see their wives as equals are doing so because they are lead to do so by Spirit.

As I noted in my earlier response, Jesus never spoke of any division between any woman or man. I sometimes think Jesus was playing at a much higher "spiritual" level than Paul, which actually makes some sense.
