...someone has asked what this had to do with  UR...... I think we need to discern how He feels

  and thinks bout it.

In Christ, race, nationality, sex is NOT an issue....His spiritual DNA takes precedence over any

  perceived 'old man Adam dna'

unregenerated man[carnal]..will have strife and wars and over-weening pride and elitism/racism..with the

corruptible image of the corrupt one active and on display.  Corruption is not limited to any one

ntion, race or sex..nor is the image of the incorrupt one.

as all races, nations and sexes..can be rascist , full of nationalistic pride and sexist...so,too..in Christ

all can be gathered/accepted into the loving family of God.

I am but a newbie here, but I will answer your question Sheila  :HeartThrob: with what has been given me to understand.

In all reality, what does not have anything to do with UR? I mean this with all sincerity. If UR is the greatest gift that I have been given. It has opened so many doors and windows in my heart, love just pours through my spirit like a gushing brook.

The light of love has torn down walls like race and color. Torn down judgments and discriminations that I didn't even know I had until they were gone.

The simple fact is that I am not the person I was. There has been a huge change, I was always so judgmental and opinionated. I could tear someone to pieces and stand on my principles like I was God or something.

But UR confirmation changed everything, almost instantly.  Nothing is "Sacred" now, simply because EVERYTHING is.  And this is my truth. Everything just is to love.

You nailed it when you spoke of Treyvons spirituality; there is no color, race or language. Just love.

The simple truth is that I am not the person I was, but my Spirit has not changed, I am just so much closer to her than ever before. If nothing else, our journey in this world is one of self discovery. Some are so much closer to the love in which they are than others. It certainly makes the person no less precious to God. Should it even to us?

Where there was just reason to judge, there is now a greater reason to love. Thanks to UR, we are all brothers and sisters.

Just my thoughts   :HeartThrob:

Love comes from some where in side us.

I was thinking about that Tom Hanks movie Castaway.
He is so lonely that he gave Love to Wilson his volleyball.

When we are full of Love it flows.
There is no decision involved .

Scriptural distinction;  everyone's my neighbor.  But not everyone's my brother - yet.

God is the Father of us all! How could we not all be brothers and sisters?

Hebrews 12:9 -  Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

My fave, Ephesians 4:6 - one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.  :HeartThrob:

Love that verse!! We are one huge family.  :cloud9:

Yes, but all scriptures must reconcile.   Not trying to discourage love.  Love is good for sure, keep doing it! - even to our enemies and neighbors.  Paul said "do good, ESPECIALLY to those of the HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH".   Re: your question as to "how", you'd have to dig into the scriptures to see how.

As I understand, some are not yet in the family of God.  Family of man, yes, but some hate God and are not brethren.

Not all have come.  Remember this scripture?   "Outside the city are the dogs--the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie...the Spirit and the bride say 'come'. "

What do you make of Ephesians 4:6 jab? Personally I believe the dogs, liars, etc are the things of the flesh (ie the carnal beastly natures/evil spirits).

Without doing a lot of digging, Paul was talking to the church, the ecclesia - those who were already in the BODY.  He was talking to believers, those who had already been given the faith to believe on Jesus as Savior.  I believe that's the context - again, without tearing into it in detail.

As far as "those without" - I liken that to the belief about wheat and tares being in everyone, and that THAT is what the scripture is expressly/exclusively/primarily addressing, or that each one is both a vessel of honor and dishonor.  Although I do believe each one of us has blemishes, and even some tares that will need destroyed, I personally believe separate individuals and where each one is (spiritually reborn or as yet-to-be spiritually reborn) is what the primary meaning is. Just for one  for instance..the Rev. scripture is talking about the holy city, where I believe it's saying that some people are in and some people are out - some still needing to come in, that's why they're being bid to "come".  That's my understanding.  Perhaps ties into our having been given the word of reconciliation (per Paul), who said "be ye reconciled".   Maybe we're the "kings" bringing our "treasure (converts?) into the city..gates open day and night", etc?  :dunno2:    I know very little of the whole big picture, so if you can show me something else or different about it scripturally, I'd certainly be willing to look at it.  Thanks and blessings. :)

Hi Jabcat,

Just so that you know where I am coming from. Our Heavenly Father knows the end from the beginning. God does not work by Time, God just is. I also fully understand that all are of God. All have the still quiet voice even though all might not hear it. The small quiet spirit that is of God.

Of course, there are spirits that are not based in Love. I believe these are where God's Love is not. The further from God, the stronger they are. But this is where the truth needs to be discerned. Regardless, that small quiet voice, that dim light that barely flickers in the darkness, is deserving of all the love that it can gather.

Please note, I am not talking of the person. Far from it. It's a sad thing but I believe that I am more than my body. I am more than my actions. Yet, it is by my body I am largely judged and my actions are viewed however they are perceived. Humans, are playing against a stacked deck and this is why most, myself included never find what was being searched for.

Had someone nurtured my inner spirit and told me that they loved me, as did God. That God was not going to see me burn forever; it would have made a huge difference. As it is, by the Grace of God, I was shown the light and realized that there was a part of me that had remained silent but never aloof. I now seek to listen, to grow in spirit to become whom I was meant always to be. Sadly, many never get this break.

I believe even the most vial person has some goodness deep within. Spirit to spirit we are brothers and sisters. One day, anything not saturated in Love will be cleasned away and smallest, quietest of voices will be heard and understood.

1Cr 3:11. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Cr 3:12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw,

1Cr 3:13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work.

1Cr 3:14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward.

1Cr 3:15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

My days, of thinking that I am better than any other are long gone. Now all I see spirits of love trying to find their way home. Aren't we all?

I pray that these words fall within the guidelines of TentMaker.

With Love, Julie

Hi Julie.  It's "OK" if you believe as you do, and I certainly don't disagree with all of it :)

No, I don't believe anyone's better than anyone else.  Still, I don't believe that does away with what I believe to be scripturally sound evidence that some are saved in this lifetime (the ecclesia - ONLY by the grace and mercy of God ["grace through faith, not of works, lest anyone should boast"]), and the rest are not given saving faith until the next ages(s).  For instance, I believe it's scripturally clear that Jesus hid Himself from most during His earthly ministry.  It wasn't their time yet.  I personally don't believe the gospel (in that age, or this age) is inclusive.  I actually believe it's somewhat exclusive, in that again, not all are saved in this age - most don't even have the "opportunity".  So I believe only those called, drawn, chosen, given faith in this age are spiritually reborn and "in the family" or body.  Then all will be at the consummation.

As far as all the rest of what you've said, where does Jesus fit in there for you? Thanks, James.

Very interesting questions and assertions James.

First off, it is not up to me to know who the first fruits are or in fact who are not. I will not seek to separate the two. I will leave that up to God and His Son Jesus Christ.

As for Jesus, I believe he is my Spiritual brother and mentor. I believe he achieved in person what only aspire to. Jesus said that "we" would more than what he did. Unfortunately, I have not been able. Why is that?   Lack of Faith which I am sure is a result of the lack of Love.

So it is my quest and has been for a while now is the be grateful and gracious for everything I have and receive. To thank always when I gain or appreciate something. My days of judging others road home is over. In fact, I would gladly give my spot (where ever that is) to someone whose spirit is like a shadow in the night.

As I said earlier, we might have to go through the Ages yet, but to God, it is already done.

Thank you for your thoughts.

I generally stated beliefs and understandings, not assertions (which is how I tend to operate anyway, but also how the board is set up) .

Yes, I agree, Jesus did things we couldn't do - actually (this is an assertion) He did what only He could do - die on the cross for our sins, taking our sins upon HimSelf.  And then with the faith He gives us, through belief in His name He gives us His righteousness (right standing before God).  Yahweh = Savior.

:HeartThrob: Yep, bad choice of words.   You certainly were not asserting anything. Please know that I am not here to argue with anyone.

Yes Jesus did die for the forgiveness of our sins. Something I am eternally grateful for.

Here is a question for you (no hurry, it is Friday night)

What about those who never hear Jesus's name or if they do, are appalled at what they hear: That Jesus will send billions to torture.

It is my belief, that believing in the name is less about knowing the name but knowing the man and his mission behind the name.

But even then, I believe one way or another, everything about God and CHrist will be revealed in time. There is nothing more for me to fear.

Many Thanks for not slapping me   :HeartThrob:

I'll be glad to respond.  It being Friday night means I'm sitting in front of the computer until 4 AM.

I'll give you what I understand from scripture, with perhaps a little "maybes and I wonders" tossed in...  I believe they'll come face to face with the Savior.  For those who've heard but didn't believe, I believe there will be a review (I hope it's only a day, or a very short time period).  I believe there will be regret and remorse, more or less depending on issues that only God knows (few stripes, many stripes).  J. Preston Eby (writes a lot on this site) suggests it will be like conviction, i.e., the "torture" of being in a church service where the Spirit of God is moving, and one is hanging onto their seat resisting, trying their best to remain stubborn.    For those who never heard?  (The vast majority of humanity).  I BELIEVE their time of salvation will be almost instant (for most, except for again, those perhaps with issues of the will only God knows) as they realize Who He Is, and come face to face with "God is Love, is a Consuming Fire".  Anyway, at the end of that "day/age" of review (kolasin aionios) every knee will bow and every tongue confess Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father.

It is my belief, that believing in the name is less about knowing the name but knowing the man and his mission behind the name.

I believe that believing in the name is being given faith to believe on Him as Savior - as some are in this age, the rest in the next.

Romans 10:13,14  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Amen sheila.  I agree.

Romans 10:12    For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

I believe God is CURRENTLY, in this age, still using nations and nationalities to fulfill His intent to redeem all.  As I know you know :), Paul said in Romans 11, "Did God's people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves."

Paul said IN CHRIST the wall is torn down.  We believe all will be in Christ, as every knee will bow and every tongue confess.  Amen.

Amen again.  I know some don't see it this way, but here's how I do.  If I met a spiritually reborn believer on Yashua as Savior who was from Africa or China - he would be my brother more so than my biological brother.  I love my earthly brother, and he's part of my earthly family, but with the believer from Africa or China, not only would the wall be torn down between us re: sex and race, but more importantly IMO, our spirits would be in union and [super]naturally fellowship through the blood of Jesus.   Blessings.

You are the first person I have ever heard speak of the "correction" as being almost instant or hopefully a relatively short time.

I truly believe that the folly of the most stubborn person will be made crystal clear when The Father and His Son are seen in all their magnificent glory and humiliation, embarrassment, shame and sorrow will ensue.

I also like the words of Micha:

Mal 3:2 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.

Neither of which denote a sense of punishment or a long period of time.

I agree with everything you wrote as if I wrote it myself.

Thank you again.

12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

James this what I think the scripture speaks of here in romans 2. Every soul before the light of His glory, some bowing the knee quickly, some needing  more "stripes" than others. "you shall not get out till you pay the last penny", that penny being the humbling of the heart in His presence, acknowledging the beauty of "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Your explanation, along with Eby's, describes it perfectly imo.
