Hi all!
Recently, I've been feeling tired. Tired of dissecting God's word.
Reading the threads here, I see that each one of us has some notion or other about any given verse.
One interprets in one way, another in another way.

I think, "to each his own interpretation!" Hast thou faith? Have it to God alone!

Is this our calling, to debate and seek deeper and deeper into things that are hidden? If they are hidden, maybe there's a reason!
But we sit and read, study, debate----trying to figure God out. -Absurd!

I'm tired of 'looking for a revelation' or some 'hidden truth' or 'deeper understanding.'

Maybe that's what Paul meant in Hebrews 6:1--"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection."

What is all the debating lead to? Building spiritual muscles in Christ? Feeling justified in what we believe individually? Feeling spiritual?

Let us all remember that being studious in the Bible does not in any way make us Christians! (That includes me!)

Bless your heart, 'Brian' I "do" understand, I say, "I'm going bowling" ....ha

..........there is nothing wrong with "avoiding" controversy! That in itself is a "given"

gift, I think, from God!

The fellowship we seek is with the Father and with the Son.  Sometimes I wonder

if Cain and Abel,  do not wrestle, one kills and one is murdered, til he joins the souls

under the altar, crying "How long, Lord?" .......til a Seth is born!  Then is when we

hear our Saviour say "HIS" part: "Father, forgive them!"

By the way, where is that guy

that used to call himself Seth on this forum? Maybe he's here, using another name,

always mixes me up when people do that! Like an optical illusion! ha
