TICK WARNING!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it myself a couple times unintentionally... but this one is real, and it's important.

So please send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around with your arms up,

DO NOT DO IT!!

DO NOT DO IT!!!

THIS IS A SCAM!!

They only want to see you naked.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday.

I feel so stupid. I feel so used...
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?

Sorry about that, dude, but...tick-borne diseases are a serious thing.  Here in the New Mexican desert country, it's one thing I don't worry about - I just wish we had some rain...
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Well dude, I remember a women some years ago, speaking of her experience with lyme disease and chemo therapy. She declared in no uncertain terms that she would far rather endure chemo again to the ravages of lyme disease. Please do not think for a nano-second F.L thinks it is not a serious thing! As for the ravages of our draught conditions...the two Great Lakes of Huron and Michigan are now at the lowest levels  in nearly a hundred years. A couple of years ago the entire Great Lakes system was down 1 1/2 feet. Do you know that the entire creation groans and travails? It is so! Now back to the e-mail.
