Oath for Confirmation

I have a habit of taking some thought and "running everywhere with it" all over the Bible.
ha

But the post that was in this section by 70sevens got me started unraveling some things.

This is what I was finally led to from the word that he used which was "confirmed" .......

I could see that Jesus was sure "confirmed" by the Father, and because He was, we are
receiving what we do.

Been thinking about that "word" CONFIRM again!

CONFIRMATION!

And here it is again!!!

How "men" verily swear by the "greater" and an "oath" for CONFIRMATION puts an END

to "all strife!"

Well, that makes me wanna SHOUT!!!

God could not swear by any greater than by HIMSELF, and He did so to Abraham!!! And "we"
are Abraham's SEED and "HEIRS" to the promise!

Do you know of anyone greater than God Himself that could have sworn that to Abraham?

Watch this Bible just absolutely fit the pieces together! Now I am in Heb 6 and it reads

"heirs of promise" same as what is in Galatians "heirs of promise."

God "confirmed" it by an OATH!

Strong consolation!

And what was it that God "swear" about? He says to Abraham, "Surely, in blessing, I

will bless you!! and here comes that REPRODUCTION: ha.........."multiply" you!!!

And so, after he had patiently endured, he "obtained" ................

That is the "hard" part, "patiently" enduring!!!

Those that heard Abraham were still in the loins of their father Abraham! You and I were.

We are hearing him NOW! We are becoming a part of his "confirmation" that Abraham

had the REAL thing. It lives on! It passes on! It comes down from one generation to

another for it is of the LORD!!! Father Abraham, had many Sons, and many Sons had

Father Abraham, and I am one of them, and .....can't remember all that song, but my

heart is leaping! Tis not a song of priests who die, but a song of our Spirit, that lives

on and on and on, the unchangeable one...........the one who said "I AM" before Abraham was

......for He "was, He is and is to come" the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.


And He makes us to

hear HIM! He is HOLY, He is Harmless, He is undefiled, and seperate from sinners!


He is a Heavenly Priest and there is but ONE! His Name is Jesus! He offered Himself up

ONE time, and now is set on the right hand of the Majesty of the Heavens! Oh, He

from there offers to us --------------HIMSELF.

Supposed to have something
to offer, it says in Hebrews, and He does: HIMSELF!

Because He has "obtained" a more excellent Ministry.

There is NONE like the Lord!

He found "fault" with us under the first covenant, but praise God, He sought another!

Methinks Jesus "Is" the OATH that the Father pronounced! ! Really, it's "all" about Jesus.........just different terminology here and there.
