 Hello to all,

My name is Bill and I believe I may have stumbled onto a site that will help answer some lifelong questions. I have long questioned many of the traditional beliefs I was taught as a child and have sought a true understanding of what God's plans are for us. I pray that God will bestow on all who seek answers the gift of discernment as we seek His truth.

I'm totally into two things when it comes to digging for truth/the whole truth/and only truth! :smile: #1, The Bible, of course! and #2, Logic! Yes, I like to capitalize logic, I think it's very important.. after all, God gave us brains..

Well, I hope you, along with the rest of us here, will find all the answers we're looking for.. and what other people are looking for! Even if they (the world) doesn't fully realize it (yet)!

"The gift of discernment".. I think you're onto something there! You know, it seems to me like the whole world is covered with untruth (lies) like a heavy quilt is set low in the atmosphere.. and I just read a verse today about that!  :Chinscratch: Now where was that?

Isaiah 25:7 - "And He will destroy... the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations."

Hey Bill.  Bill's my brother's name, so now I know I have at least 2 brothers named Bill :).

Welcome here...dig away, there's more to find.  One thing I've found is the mainstream church has missed a lot of things for sure - however, I've also found some things they believe are spot on.  Some leaving mainstream, IMO, go too far with things like denying the inspiration of scripture, outright dismissing it, and/or twisting the scriptures to fit their own "new enlightenment" and personal interpretive comfort - in essence, throwing the baby out with the bath water.  I've struggled with that at times, maybe most have when we leave the institutional framework.  Anyway, as the scriptures say, test all things, HOLD to that which is good.

The deepest well of truth lies in the contents that define the restoration of David's tent.
To gaze at these contents begins in Daniel 12:4.
What has been sealed for a later time as well the 7 seals that are opened in the book of Revelation chapter 7.
Place these against the backdrop of Ezekiel foretelling to cut hair in a world of the scribes recording the bible using sealed symbols and the the revelation emerges that in order to build a model on earth of New Jerusalem it is necessary to use the original alphabet that Daniel sealed.
These are just some of the mysteries that are being opened in our time.
To see the world through the unsealed bible explains so much more about Jesus than ever known by mankind.
These are concepts that all tent makers could study in anticipation of the restoration of Jerusalem and his ultimate return.
