HI all.  Thought I would share this eperience with you.  it was quite interesting!  I visited my good friend yesterday, who walks in a very deep relationship with god and jesus. we were talking about things for a while.  I was mentioning struggles I was having.  so she led me through repentance and renouncing spirits of fear, lust, and unloving spirits.  we did the prayers and I felt something start to change.  then she said under the athourity of jesus christ of nazereth I cast these spritis out.  na dshe began talking in tougnes as well.  suddleny I started laughing sooooo hard and then crying sooo hard, tears straming from my eyes,  she was telling me to look in her eyes, as soon as I did something forced me to not look.  she kept on saying "look into my eyes"  as she continued to tell the spirits to leave in jesus name and by the blood of jesus, along with tougnes etc... the spiits started talking through me, made me say, "they let me in here"  I'm guessing that meant my fore fathers?  anyways, I felt these  spirits leave me one by one each one with a huuuge struggle!  I had never experienced this before ever.  it was amazing.  there was also a spirit of infirmaty that has been in my family on my dads side.  lots of heart disease etc...  this spirit gripped me and my arms seized up and my mouth tighened and it finally left after she continued to plead the blood of christ over me and cast them out in jesus name.  SO yeah,   what a powerful experience.  I realized after those spirits leaving, that when i thought certian things about myself in the past, of how I was and acted etc was never ME!  but these other spirits living in me from generations and generations in my family.  wow!  has anyone had an experience like this before??

it was real that is for sure!

onlytruth

thats awesome, feel the freedom!!!
it is surprising the the things we hang on to ,thinking they are ours!
blessings :gimmefive:

lomarah

Wow that's awesome. I've never personally experienced that (I really hope to someday soon though!). But I know of lots of people who have. Congrats on the deliverance and thanks so much for sharing!

It's not us!

It's not us!!

Do we now finally know why "the wicked" are thrown into the Lake of Fire reserved for the Devil and his Angels?  Refining!  Separation!  Burn out the dross and the slag.  The wicked will be brought out of the fire as gold and as silver!  Praise God!

It was never us at all!
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Mt 13;49  this is how it will be at the end of the age...The angels will

come and seperate the wicked from the righteous.and throw them into

the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

HAVE YOU UNDERSTOOD ALL THESE THINGS?

Lloyd

QuoteIt was never us at all!
What I was told is that we're either in charge of our own thinking and acting, or we let others be in charge. Either way, we're responsible for the thinking and acting, whether good or bad. And if we take charge, we either lead such spirits toward light or darkness. Otherwise, we let ourselves be led by them.

but, who told you that "we're either in charge of our own thinking and acting, or we let others be in charge"
Isn't that kind of like letting that person tell you what to think about being in charge?  :dontknow:

Two lines going thru heavens gates. One line has a big sign over it, "This line for husbands that were dominated by their wives"
the other line said, "This line for husbands that were NOT dominated by their wives."
George looks over from the line of husbands that were dominated by their wives and sees his old friend Fred standing in the line for men NOT dominated by their wives. "Fred", he says, "You and I both know that you were a total wimp and your wife was always telling you what to do and how to do it and what was wrong with you. What in the world are you doing standing in the line that says men NOT dominated by their wives?" Fred ansers back, "Aww you know Helen, she told me to stand in this line." :Peace2:

Wow! So in reading "War on the Saints" linked on the prophecy thread, I found a tidbit that confirms that it truly is not us. This has been confirmed in my spirit by the HS several times over the last few days. I still have a voice saying it is not so. This, I guess is what Satan does. This discerning of spirits is so new and I don't want to miss the mark. Anyway here is the quote

THE CURSE OF GOD PRONOUNCED UPON THE DECEIVER
That a highly organized monarchy of evil spirit-beings was in existence, is not made known in the story of the garden. Only a "serpent" is there; but the serpent is spoken to by God as an intelligent being, carrying out a deliberate purpose in the deception of the woman. The serpent-disguise of Satan is swept aside by Jehovah, as He makes known the decision of the Triune God in view of the catastrophe which had taken place. A "Seed" of the deceived woman, should eventually bruise the head of the supernatural being, who had used the form of the serpent to carry out his plan. Thenceforward the name of serpent is attached to him, the very name throughout the ages describing the climax action of his revolt against his Creator, in beguiling and deceiving the woman in Eden, and blasting the human race. Satan triumphed, but God overruled. The victim is made the vehicle for the advent of a Victor, who should ultimately destroy the works of the devil, and cleanse the heavens and the earth from every trace of his handiwork. The serpent is cursed, but, in effect, the beguiled victim is blest, for through her will come the "Seed" which will triumph over the devil and his seed; and through her will arise a new race through the promised Seed (Gen. 3: 15), which will be antagonistic to the serpent to the end of time, through the enmity implanted by God. Henceforth the story of the ages consists of the record of a war between these two seeds; the Seed of the woman--Christ and His redeemed--and the seed of the devil (See John 8: 44; 1 John 3: 10), right on to the furthermost point of the final committal of Satan to the lake of fire.

Henceforth it is also war by Satan upon the womanhood of the world, in malignant revenge for the verdict of the garden. War by the trampling down of women in all lands where the deceiver reigns. War upon women in Christian lands, by the continuance of his Eden method of misinterpreting the Word of God; insinuating into men's minds throughout all succeeding ages, that God pronounced a "curse" upon the woman, when in truth she was pardoned and blessed; and instigating men of the fallen race to carry out the supposed curse, which was in truth a curse upon the deceiver, and not the deceived one (Gen. 3: 14).

I mean HALLELUJAH!

Lloyd

Colleen, I believe the Curse of God story there is superstition.

Colleen

How so, Lloyd?  I am not really sure what you mean.

sheila

exactly..........for this reason..He could pray..Father forgive them they know

NOT what they do.  And we,too..like Him..must not be angry with our fellow

man so deceived and taken captive by the serpent to do his will.

see Christ's dealing with the man with 'legion"  He didn't brow beat

him..tell him it was all his fault..blame him for not freeing himself.

He showed mercy to him.  cast them out...then the man was in his 'right'

mind.

   blame the victim..still active today

also..when satan took the serpents guise..God called him the original

serpent..when satn began to take bodies of animals he named him the beast

when he fooled the prophet..false prophet..when he entered man's body

he becomes known as man of sin or son of perdition..of which they gave

us scripture of Judas as an example of the man of sin,son of perdition

when satan entered Judas. the man of sin/lawlessness

must be revealed..and Christ

will do away with him..at the 'breath" of His coming

we are on the very cusp of the end of this age..and the beginning of

immortality.   Our deliverance draws nigh.

who really are the 'cursed of God?"  well, Jesus tells us......come ye who are

blessed,,receive the Kingdom prepared for you...and then..come ye cursed

those He throws into Lof..for what they did to mankind/His body

lomarah

Is it just me or is this man of sin being revealed to quite a few folks lately...  :Chinscratch:

Colleen

Sheila you are the bomb diggity! :friendstu:

sheila

yep..the scriptures must be fufilled..it was prophesied that first this must

be revealed prior to Our Lord's coming...[abomination that causes desolation

because it destroys the temple of God,man's body in which His spirit and truth

must dwell] Jesus told them, tear down this temple and I will raise it on the

third day...we run to the mountains'promises of God..the Kingdom prepared

for us"

The Lord of Lord does not take this tresspass lightly...he who destroys God's

temple,God himself will destroy.  Paul let it be known that 'certain men' would

enter and not treat the flock with tenderness. Daniel prophesied the 'saints

were overcome" til the court sit and the time we receive the Kingdom.

sheila

I have been preaching the man of sin revealed for 10+ years, mostly

on deaf ears.  the revealing of it to others lets me know the time

is close at hand for all man's deliverance.  PRAISE GOD.....lift yourselves

erect..........  it's like seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!!

"O wretched man that I am" --- The root of the whole matter (imho  ) is choice / the ability to make choices, which is an offshoot of thinking ability. Unless all are lockstep with God (who is also Perfection, and Life; and which is exactly what we are all learning, man aNd angel, to be lockstep with God in all things, for if one is not) they are imPerfect, the opposite of Life. Plus, there will be deception and oppression by some, in this case, the first were angels (who "left their first place" and are now in chains/imPerfection awaiting judgment/results of imPerfection -- chains because imPerfection cannot reverse its course and become Perfect/Life).

Even though the root 'problem' is rationality, who do we know who would rather be a robot? Or a plant (i.e. no thinking ability) What was God's choice? No rational creatures? ever!? It's not that He made a mistake which we humans are always trying to grapple with and explain..

QuoteLloyd: Colleen, I believe the Curse of God story there is superstition.

There is no eternal damnation for "Satan" or "evil spirits", just as with the rest of us. The "Lake of Fire" seems to be a metaphor for purification, not really for destruction. Just as in the Reply to Damnationist Thread. Saul was "destroyed" and was replaced with "Paul".

I believe sin is merely moral immaturity or naivete'. Just as our physical bodies grow naturally, so our moral selves grow naturally too, and we become new persons more in God's image with each moral advance we make. It seems that original sin is moral immaturity, which allows us to accept moral misconceptions or lies as truths, until God matures us, shining His light on our moral darkness.
