I see that not as the doctrine of free will but as the doctrine of freedom from sin. Before Christ, man has no choice but to sin, after Christ, man is able to choose not to sin.

In other words, if no man can free will choose to never sin again, where is free will?

What man would choose is limited by His ability. Ther is no ability to choose not to sin until man has chosen to serve God in Christ, and to do that the man must be "in Christ".

Believe me, I have no desire to set the limitaions of man upon God- as I have said all along in this running discoure, man's will is only free within certain parameters of God's choosing.

The only statement that I oppose is the one which says man has "no free will", which IMO an error of signifigant proportions, since God is teaching us stewardship, discipleship and sonship as we grow in choosing "not my will but thine be done" on a daily basis.

Right there you have said that man's will is NOT free. He, the Lord is the CAUSE, within the certain PARAMETERS, He is the parameters. :dsunny:

Seems like a prisoner that is free to roam about the yard/pen and can do pretty much what he wants when the yard is MT except for him

Man's will is not totally free, Nor is man's will totally programmed by God.
