I enjoy asking believers in ET this

Clearly if hell is the best location for fallen humanity, we should be happy not sad that most of us are going there.

Because God is completely just and also completely good, everything he does must be just and good. Because of that if he sends people to hell it means he did something good, and we should be rejoicing instead of trying to avoid it  :2c: imo

So how do the ET-believers react to that question?  :Chinscratch:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

So far, not too well. In fact I've found it's a lot better just to use Bible verses and not bother with making assertions, since argumentation doesn't really help the cause. For example:

    Revelation 5:13
And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

  Acts 3:19-21
19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

  Psalm 22:27-29
27 All the ends of the world Shall remember and turn to the LORD, And all the families of the nations Shall worship before You. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD's, And He rules over the nations. 29 All the prosperous of the earth Shall eat and worship; All those who go down to the dust Shall bow before Him, Even he who cannot keep himself alive.

  Romans 5:18-19
18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many (all) were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many (all) will be made righteous.

9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance. 10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. 11 These things command and teach.

Hey! I'm off to copy n paste all those verses.. I already spied a couple I hadn't considered.. (Thanks!)

..and I think you're right about verses rather than trying to rationalize/debate which doesn't seem to go that far..

P.S/edit - if I thought (any of) my loved ones were in danger of being lost (or worse! ) I think I would be most miserable!

I really enjoyed this thread, I have seen alot of these scriptures scattered but it is a real blessing to be able to paste them.

I thought back to my days preaching annilation and many accepted this view for they had allready accepted when you die you are no more forever, then when I said there is a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous that some will get a second chance, the answer was to that well i'll wait and see.

The victorious gospel does not ask us if we want to give up on life forever, it says that Gods love is here forever and he will not allow you to just opt out on life, he did not create you simply for nothing and his love is that protection of a father, I believe it is far more complelling for a response than any false gospel, the ET just puts the majority of unbelievers off God being a loving father alltogether.
