Hi!

I am a Christian from Austria and since it is rather difficult to find Christians believing in Jesus Christ as the savior of all men here, I am glad that at least a forum like this exists. Many Christians would not even regard universalists as Christians. Although I have been studying the bible for a while now (even as an atheist), it took some time until I became a Christian. One of my best friends, who lives far away from where I live for some years now, is a universalist, too, and he was the one who introduced me to universalism years ago. I was an atheist then, but I found his arguments very convincing and I could relate his arguments to my own bible reading.

I am looking forward to many interesting and fruitful discussions!

Best wishes,
Elishua

Hello yourself, and welcome!  I am a former atheist myself, now better - dragged before the Throne of God is more like it!  :laughing7:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
