Here is a hypothetical question I posed at the "other" website. Hmm. What if there were no hypothetical questions?

"Just suppose... You really truly love someone. They don't even realize that they are your child. They continually reject your professions and acts of love toward them. Finally, they scream at you, "I HATE you! Leave me alone! I never want to see you again."
Do you:
A. Give up - even though "Love NEVER fails?
B. Continue to love that person because You've been commanded to "love your enemies" and that even pagans love those that love them?
C. Call a psychotic and pay them to kidnap the person and keep them locked up in a basement torturing them on an hourly basis?
D. Show them who you really are and reveal to them that they are your child and let them see the total truth of your love for them?

...and you're going to get banned sooner or later (probably sooner  :laugh:) on that "other" website.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

Yep, I suspect about any "hints" will likely be called out as "teaching universalism, and the Bible doesn't teach that".   And then you basically won't even be allowed to talk about it - unless you're in a mode of submitting to "being taught" ET.

reminds me of when I was faced with a scripture 16:9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. "They do not repent they CURSE GOD! Which is exactly what you do not believe will happen. "

I have to admit I was taken a back, When explained to them, that this verse depicts what will happen on this Earth not necessarily the afterlife they told me that because of their present state of hatred towards God, they will carry this on in death.

This made me think.

I often observed my cousin's child (a four year old boy) When she sent him to his room for being naughty (or to go to sleep) He would often kick, scream make a fuss, even say "I hate you Mommy!".
However does my cousin lock him in that room forever and ever?
No, not at all, when he becomes quiet and has humbled himself he is let out.
