Hi I am Todd and new to the tentmaker forum. A little about me, I found tentmaker about 5 years ago while I was researching things in the bible. At the time I was studying with the Christadelphians and had been doing so for a few years. They taught me allot but when I read an article on Tentmaker titled questions without answers from E.H. Lake's book Key to Truth I instantly knew I was on to something good.  For the first time I really understood why it is the good news. Years later I am still studying hard and learning new things about the bible all the time.  For anyone who is interested in the book Key to Truth you can read it online at http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=hvd.32044054767561;view=image;page=root;size=100;seq=19;num=xi

Hi, Todd. Indeed it is good news. As Hannah Whitall Smith says, the remedy (Jesus) must be greater than the disease (sin and death) for the work to be finished. Isn't it wonderful. Yes, He is a just God and a Savior.

Hi + welcome omantodd,
There doesn't seem to be good, clear, free copies of E.H. Lakes book.
The website you gave is free and another website I'm listing below is free. Hard to tell which is more readable.
We look forward to your participation in our discussion forum.

Welcome!   :friendstu:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Thanks for the link to E.H. Lakes book on google, it appears it is the same scanned copy just posted in a different place.  I will try using google books for some other things I want to read. Do you know how many books E.H. Lake wrote?

Not me, I never heard of him before you mentioned him.
IMO, No person has a corner on the truth so every author I
read, I try to make sure they aren't "stretching, twisting, redefining, or re-interpreting scripture
as many are want to do to "prove" a pet theory of theirs.

Joh 21:25  And there are also many other things--as many as Jesus did--which, if they may be written one by one, not even the world itself I think to have place for the books written. Amen.

And WECOME!

He made some references in Key to Truth that I was confused a little on and would have liked it if he had expanded a bit more. I had hoped he had written something else, possibly a book on biblical OT prophesy and the book of revelations. Oh well, I will keep hunting. Thanks

Hi friend, I dont know Lake...but as far as understanding old testament stuff and how it all flows into the New, ya cannot go past Stephen Jones http://www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net/teachings/books/the-laws-of-the-second-coming/..but as was said, no one has it all right.

Rhodes, I'm a big fan of Stephen E. Jones myself, and have read Secrets of Time and Creation's Jubilee.  It's amazing stuff, but you know that...

Welcome fellow newbie here.   :LH:   Stephen Jones is a great author and teacher. He lives here in Minnesota and teaches once a month, I have personally went to his seminars. I have also met him one on one. I have read everything available on his website by converting everything to Word documents and emailing the documents to my Kindle. All of his publications are on PDF but that will not work with Kindle. Its so good to hear others who enjoy studying his material. I would love to have access to more free material for my studies if anyone has any good sources to post here. Thank you and be blessed.
