It 's hard Byron and I get so fed up sometimes but there are a few that hear now and others will later. I just received this comment that blessed me a minute ago on another blog post. We'll grab a handful out of the darkness. This one has a sweet spirit and one worthy of prayer. Her comment on my "Heresy or return to Truth" message:

I can honestly say to you that I am not sure what to think about your post here. Oh, that it could be true! It is a little funny that I am reading this here after finding out that one of my all time favorite authors (Hannah Hurnard) believed this same thing in her later years. She was a missionary in Israel. She brought a muslim woman to the hospital as the muslim woman was dying. She wished to share the gospel with her but the lady died first. She agonized about this death because she had not been able to tell her about Jesus. She wrote that she asked God why? This was when He shared with her heart not to worry about this precious soul because she would have a chance, even after her death, to see the truth.

What about during the tribulation...the people that get the mark. I am sincerely asking and not trying to argue here.

As far as the 'organized church' and 'religions' are concerned... I feel the very same way that you do!

I post on youtube all the time because even though the person I'm refuting may be hardened, a comment reader will respond. One atheist told me "thou almost persuadeth me to become a Christian".  :laughing7:

Hannah Hurnards book called 'Eagle Wings to the Higher Places' is her allorigal version of coming to see universalism.

Its a great little book, I loved it

should come back and say though Jack in case you havent read it, recommending it to this lady might not be wise as Hurnard gets off into some stuff that even some ur folks shy away from at the end of her book. She is pretty radical. Martin would love it cause she goes vegetarian and some other things that he sure would relate to.

I may not be long for this particular venue but hey, the doors were broken down ...... and the captives have been presented a way out from the darkness.

And yes Hopeful ...... that is what is so tiring ...... same line over and over again.

Card , that woman is one of the few I actually was led to ask to be my "friend". Most have come to me and some I have rejected. If I wanted to play the game I could have 500 friends rather than 50 ...... weirdest place I even been where you win by collecting the most friends and stars. Oh my, the places He will take you.  :laughing7:

If I have written one of these short messages at that place I have written a hundred.

I see this whole post as a poorly written address of "universal reconciliation." The scholarship is horrendous and there is certainly no anointing in this message. This very introductory paragraph illustrates the depth of depravity from which this hell fire doctrine comes. Instead of the anointing there seems to be a perverted pride when it is stated above (and it is stated confusingly)   ".....I am not referring to annihilationism where sinners are destroyed rather than tormented forever in hell ....."
I wince when I read such words.

Annihilation would be the greatest kindness in contrast to "tormented forever in hell" but it seems one is driven to lift up the very worst doctrine of demons that presents the most horrifying scenario ever dreamed up for our neighbors that don't receive the unmerited gift of salvation through Christ in this life time. And then these people decry that we might teach the Biblical truth of God's enduring mercy and love to our children rather than expose them to such filth as the belief that God would burn and torment forever the majority of His children. And we wonder why the world shakes their head at our message of Christ, the Saviour. Is there any greater insanity or demonstration of the wickedness that dwells in the hearts of man than the "Hell fire damnation" message I think not.

   That's great! The 'what about hell' vids I think were made by Eric Stetson. I post those comments and links EVERYWHERE just to give those who are searching a chance to get info. Glad it's working  :thumbsup:

The really sad thing about most arguments against UR, like this one in particular, is that they assume we are all stupid enough to ignore all the warnings of hell completely. If people would actually read the basis of UR beliefs and the explanation of the mistranslation/error of hell verses, they might realize that this is not just some crazy heretic doctrine easily disproved by quoting 5 Bible verses...  :sigh:

The way it angers ET believers to hear UR beliefs is interesting to me. They often seem attacking and sort of know-it-all-ish^* when they're usually just ignorant of the numerous bases behind our beliefs.

I go to a local college and today I was waiting in a classroom before one of my classes started... and one girl had mentioned Catholic purgatory. I said that I thought the Bible pointed to a purgatorial hell rather than an eternal one anyway... and wow, you would have thought I was defending Adolf Hitler the way everyone turned on me... one guy I know said to me "Wow, that's just... wow" and shook his head. When I mentioned the Hebrew/Greek words behind the Bible and tried to back up my beliefs, it was just the same thing again... it was actually kind of hurtful to me to be looked on as the ignorant one. I expect that to happen when I state my beliefs, but I guess I didn't really think about it today  :sigh:
