micah7:9

I was just sitting here considering when we come to that place in our time that death/expiring is the next step of our journey, does the thought of dying bring saddness for having to leave all our family, friends, things weve done, things we still wanted to do, not being able to do the one last thing?  Is that what we will be thinking?

Or is it not knowing and maybe fear of what is going to happen when that last breath of living is exhaled?

For me I believe it will be the saddness of having to leave all family, friends, things Ive done, things I still wanted to do, not being able to do the one last thing. For me death has to be the end, the stop, loss of all memory, done, finished, over, but in the midst of that saddendess of having to leave people and things I loved and cared about when I was breathing, the Grace of Father comforts me knowing that Jesus loved me, found me, drew me, and that what is in store is being in the ALL IN ALL.

Hi Micah,

I think about these things also. It seems the older we get the more we think about dying. I don't fear death but I question as to what happens when I die? I kind of think it will be like before we were born. We won't know anything until Christ connects the silver cord to our bodies, then we will know as we are known. One think for sure, I don't think we will know that we are dead.  Time won't exist and we will rest from our works. I think this is where faith in Jesus comes in. Faith that he will bring us back into being again. I guess I should have said, "the faith that Jesus had is the same faith that we will have, which comes from God and not from any faith that we muster up".

Can you imagine what those who believe in eternal torment must fear about dying?  Don't you think that they wonder if their works was good enough to keep them out of hell?  How can they be sure? This must be on their minds continually? I think if I believed in hell I would fear dying. I am at peace knowing that there is no hell that will literally burn mankind. I know what awaits me. Life.

If all my family could die at the same time, I'd say bring it on.  My only fear of dying is the hurt of my loved ones left behind.  I'm excited about the other side.  I still love life, and feel loss at the thought of not being able to______.  On the other hand, this world sucks, give me the promised land.

micah7:9

Thus the Gospel, the Good News,  that even in the midist of all the horror and evil than man has, does, and will do Father knows that when mankind comes and goes through the refiners fire, He will have his children back. We must know that it is a good thing that we die. I embrace this verse Joh 12:24  verily, verily, I say to you, if the grain of the wheat, having fallen to the earth, may not die, itself remaineth alone; and if it may die, it doth bear much fruit;

micah7:9

Why as believers in Jesus Christ do we as men/women fight so hard to stay alive in this world when we know that being with Him is so much better? Im not trying to be offensive, I was told 6 mos ago I had prostate cancer,  I went through weeks of radiololgy, I have not been told anything.... I wont know if it was good or not good. My point is I may be nearer than I thought, to dying. Thats why I ask about things like spiritual death(which is not taught in the Word) and death comes from dying. We dont get anywhere in this life without dying and dying is only the last step is it not?

:cloud9: Our inheritance is GOD, as a priest. There is no death in Him. Receive your inheritance NOW. Only the testator dies and leaves an inheritance to the heirs; it's NOT the heirs that die. God never intended for man to die; the sin in our blood makes a cleansing necessary. It is my belief that He is going to raise up some in this hour that will not taste of death, but will overcome death, because the Word says it. We can't overcome death by dying, we overcome it by NOT dying.

When I was told I had terminal and aggressive cancer that had already spread to my other organs, He healed me, and then showed me that by making Him *word we can't use* over whether I lived or died, I did it all as unto the Lord, submitting to His perfect will, in THAT MOMENT He healed me, and I over came death, BECAUSE if ONLY God "can kill you" (making Him that word we can't use on here), THEN NOTHING ELSE CAN. This is how I learned personally that He is *that word we can't use on here*, LOL......Blessings.... :HeartThrob:

Good word, Cardinal.  Does that word we can't use begin with *f*?

I stopped believing in death about 20 years ago, around the same time I started believing in life oddly enough. :icon_king:

I'm wondering about covering sins. Yesterday I wrote something about it in relation to time but I think it fits in this thread too.
When Jews sinned they brought a sacrifice to the Temple. The priests took some blood of the sacrifice and sprinkled it under the alter. On top of that blood the priest sprinkled some dust. The sin of the Jew got 'transfered' to the blood of the animal. The blood got covered.
I know many say Jesus completely blotted out sins instead of covering them. But.... they believed the covering did not really/completely forgive the sins. On the day of atonement the high priest made a sacrifice to and sprinkled the blood on the mercy seat in the Holies of Holies.
At that point all the sins that are 'stored' under the altar are forgiven.
So were their sin forgiven or not?

(is there a relation with the slain souls under the altar of Revelation?)

:cloud9: @ WW.....you bless me so much.  :HeartThrob: If you're (still) an athiest, God give us more athiests. You got it.

Think about it; the act of COVERING the blood where the sins were, with DUST (we were taken from the dust). He was having them mirror a spiritual reality (as is the whole of the OT) by that action. This is why we are told that if we sin (and we still do obviously) we have a HIGH PRIEST, we can come to. This is a picture of where we have been, in the 2 days (2000 years) of Pentecost age.

Then we come to the Holy of Holies on the ONE DAY of atonement, where those sins that were covered, were removed by the High Priest's sacrifice. In pattern, for the two days of Pentecost, they have been covered ONLY, but the day is coming (and now is) when they will be removed completely in a people He is preparing that He is not ashamed to call brethren.

The patterns that He walked out, we now walk out with the Spirit leading us and doing the works. It's no different than when He presented them the law. That was the whole of the law, but then He expected them to walk it out. He presented the pattern for the next stage, but He expects us to walk it out, not sit on a church pew parroting "It is finished" and not move with the Spirit to bring ALL THINGS to His desired end.

The Spirit leads to do this cleansing work in the situations and relationships we find ourselves walking in. We are lively stones rubbing one another to bring about the perfect fit for that stone in the foundation, with the chief cornerstone and Master builder directing the works. I know this to be a FACT, because He has been doing it with me, not just covering sins, but REMOVING them, removing generational curses as I walk according to His declared perfect will for my life.

And as I said, He does it by repeating the same patterns in the situations that brought the fall into that particular sin bondage, but the difference is in this generation (me) that by His grace and my obedience to His declared will on the matter, is that it results in a different outcome than in my previous generational bloodline, because it is Christ who strengthens me.

I will use this as an example. He cleaned up yet another hiding place of respect of persons in me. He did it by having me walk in a spiritual union He declared for a season, to someone much younger than me. This raised up in me a complete revulsion of the situation, based on my abhorance of May-December relationships in general (where the woman is the older one), and especially for me in particular, and brought down some more pride, but to my complete surprise, He revealed that MY stance on it was a hiding place of respect of persons.

I thought I had overcome all respect of persons. It was respect of persons, based on AGE, a physical carnal aspect, which was in opposition to His Spirit on the subject. When I balked, thinking there is NO WAY God would do this to me, He point blank asked me, "What age will your glorified bodies be?".

I couldn't answer that question, can you?  :mblush:
After many personal words to me on the subject, once humbled and submitted to His declared will (trust me, this took MONTHS), I passed the test, and it was over.

Now let me share with you what He showed me. We, as priests of the Most High God, are made to be one with the Head. The body (outer court realm) can only do what it "sees" (thru the soul, the darkened glass) the Head do, in their case, since they don't have the Spirit to see HIM, they can only see the soul of us because that's what level they are on.

I shared this before, that is why when we hate our brother in our heart, THEY go out and murder theirs, hate and murder being the same sin. One is hidden in the heart, the other is outward manifestation. This is why we are told not to judge our brother, BECAUSE THE SAME THING IS IN OUR HEART, because ALL SIN IS COMMON TO MAN.

We just have not given life to it (watered it) until it has taken over into outward manifestation, and so He has not judged us with it, YET. But make no mistake about it, judgment begins IN THE HOUSE of the Lord, whose house we are, and He is about judging the hearts of men.

The only difference is, by the grace of God we of the priesthood have been chosen to overcome the wickedness of the heart, so that the others might be set free as well. No greater love has any man than this, that He lay down his life for his friend (neighbor).

So this respect of persons that is so hidden, is why we are seeing so many May-December unions in the world, because He is pouring out His Spirit on ALL FLESH right now during the 2 years of Pentecost that we are in, and that water is raining on the just (Christ being raised up in us) and the unjust (the tares), giving life to whatever WE choose. Choose ye this day whom ye will serve.

By those of the priesthood coming into agreement with whatever He has set before them for a season, THEIR HEART is being cleansed, the sins removed, not covered (hidden in the dust). This is why it says the HG searches out the HIDDEN THINGS in the hearts of men.

Satan cannot cast out Satan, and this is why we must go thru this cleansing of the hidden things of the heart, because He is raising up sons of God who will not only be priests, but one with the High Priest Himself,  that will be able to cast out Satan from the heavenlies of men's hearts, where He raises himself up declaring that he is God, and uses the flesh of men to demonstrate it, no longer only covering sins themself, but REMOVING it.

And so the scripture says that if you see the power to REMIT SINS, then know that the Kingdom of God has come unto you. God is all about building His Kingdom IN US, not building kingdoms outside of us in building programs, ect. He is doing a new thing in this hour. Blessings....

PS. In another revelation this past week, He showed me that my overcoming the above, set the stage for my daughter to be set free of the generational curse I had unwittingly placed upon her before I knew the Lord, by preferring (respect of persons) older men. I married a man 8 years older than me.

That in itself is not a "sin"; the sins comes in thru not letting the Lord direct your life. But the motive of the heart guiding the decision definitely had to do with respect of persons, because I wouldn't even consider dating anyone my age, and God forbid, younger than me, if only by a couple of years.

She had been engaged to a much older man in a bad relationship. She got set free of it and engaged to the young man the Lord picked for her, who just happens to be her age. She would not have dated him before, because "he was too young". See how these things transfer? She would have destroyed her life following what was in MY HEART, not what was in HIS.

Sorry this was so long, but I really felt led to share all this....

The words in question were free will and sovereignty.  It's not that the words can't be used, it's more so that ongoing discussion of the concepts are discouraged, as it has shown time and again to lead to arguing and division on the forum.  All one has to do is a search within the forum on those terms, and you can find some pretty heated discussions arguments - to the point of multiple threads being closed, even banning, etc.   :sigh:   So a couple years ago it began to be highly discouraged due to its negative impact on the forum.   :2c:

We are waiting for him to appear from the holy of holies, having successfully removed our sin.  This will be the manifestation of the sons of God.

:cloud9: Amen, Molly.....until we were discussing this I never noticed that scripture in Hebrews thru this lens, exactly......check it out.......isn't this awfully close to a duplicate reading?

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; (bear = the flesh carrying=sins covered by flesh) and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. And He appears without sin (without that IMAGE), revealing the way to remove it = salvation. We are changed into His image by beholding Him from glory to glory. You have to be shown what He is doing after the fact (the test), for it to be a real test of the heart/obedience. Wow.

New meaning to, "and in that day you shall ask Me nothing, because your Father already knows what you have need of before you ask". Rambling here, because that script is running thru me. Going to have to run for real here real soon, too.... :sigh:
