1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Well, all Israel will be saved, but we should take comfort that the gentiles are co-heirs with Israel... so all will be saved.

Out of maintaining my peace I could only skim the God so Loved Israel Only article; but if the article is in tantamount saying that only Israel will be saved...Then God is a respecter of persons, and quite frankly that's just terrible.

But I'll have to devote some time to it later.  Hopefully the article isn't making that mistake.

After a quick scan of the downloadable article I am to the same conclusion.  If it is saying in tantamount that God does not love everyone, but only Israel...Then this is terrible.

It would not benefit me to go from the highest good and benevolence that is offered in the omniloving God, to one who is diminished to being a local deity.  Local in comparison to Existence-spanning that is, not quite the same perhaps in the idea of a local deity being a deity bound to a certain city or area, but it may as well be the case now that I think about it.

I could only skim it as well - partly because white words on a black background make my eyes go funny after a while and partly because I found the writing style quite difficult. It seems to be saying that when the Bible says "the world" it really means "Israel." I have not heard anything else to back this up.  :mshock:

Does God value genetics more than the spirit within man?

From what I have read anyone can become an Israelite by believing in Jesus, that somehow by faith we connect to Abrahams seed.

I don't know if this is spiritual, physical or both. My guess would be both. That being a follower of Jesus gives us access to better genetics, by being part of Abrhams seed. Also access to the spiritual blessing that Abraham had, such as the blessing of being called the friend of God.

Quick thought.  The idea that God only loves Israel, and will only save Israel while the rest of the nations are thrown away like fodder and trash...

What about all of those psalms and verses that talk about "All the nations" and "All the peoples" and "All the families"?

6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

9For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

10And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

--Rom 9

Galatians 4:28
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I have to confess that I have not read the page though, so I am not sure of the context.

Being a man who doesn't pull any punches as the situation requires, I would agree in partly that Israel will be saved from destruction, while other nations(Not eternal destiny, I mean destroyed from living on the earth, the wicked cut of from the earth), might find themselves destroyed through judgment, if Jesus requires it to keep his people safe. Probably not a popular concept, but I'm not here to win votes.

It's for a reason I posted it in the "Arguments Against Universal Salvation" section.
It's here for refutation.

The second article is black on white.
A trick for the first article: Select the text by pressing "Ctrl"  and "A" simultaniously.

I wasn't directing my displeasure at you, or assuming you supported it friend. :)  I was just expressing my "general opinion after a quick look" at the articles.  For refuting it, I'd be lead to point to the verses that talk about "all nations" and "all peoples".

See, THAT'S taking scriptures out of context...
Not worth refuting, too shallow.
