  :girlheart     Hi Everyone. I am thrilled I found Tentmaker. I  am from Tyler, TX. I am looking forward to learning much more through this discussion forum. I think at this point I would call myself a budding Evangelical Universalist.

My advice is to stick like glue to the Evangelical part. The two do work together. It's often automatically assumed that Universalism means liberalism. And I think for some, that's what it leads to. Especially for those who have had bad experiences with "organized religion" a particular denomination etc. I always try to remember what's said about planting yourself on a firm foundation and not letting yourself get tossed about.
