I'm wondering if the differences on the technicalities of how jesus saves us differs.  Also with the definitions words such as saved, death, blasphemy, sin, forgiveness, sanctified, etc.

1.  So, when exactly did the new (current) covenant start?  For example, did it happen when jesus died or did it happen when jesus came back to life?

2.  What's the definition of the words in the bible:  saved, death, blasphemy, sin, forgiveness, sanctified??  (and what bible)

3.  What happened to people who have died before jesus existed in flesh form?

4.  Is a human after death on earth able to believe satan is lord?  If not, why can't god cause the same (forceful believing) for fallen angels?

5.  Once somebody has the holy spirit dwelling in them (on earth), are they incapable of committing blasphemy of the holy spirit?

pls no peeking at posts below for definitions

The covenant started at his death, the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The blood of Jesus cleanseth from all sin. Just like the old covenant which is about spilling blood, sacrificing animals, there is method to the madness, the old covenant helps establish the new covenant.
The resurection gives us assurance that he is the Son of God and His Father highly exalted Him.

The part that I need more study on is that Jesus said "Thy sins be forgiven, know that the son of man has power to forgive sins" he said this upon the earth before his death, not sure how he had this power, but I think that it may be different to the blood atonment, I think perhaps this power he has to forgive, was available in the old testament in samples, e.g joshua who was given a clean garment before the lord. Also kind David was forgiven for his sins and many others.

Saved I think mostly speaks of being saved from his wrath, there are verses which directly say this. Also verses say he saved us from the bondage of death.
Death is the condition of sin
Blashphemy is something Jesus was accused of regularly, making oneself as God, the beast 666 also makes himself God and is blashpeming God
Sin comes from a Greek word, which means to miss the mark
Forgivness, to let go of resentment or anger towards another person
Sanctified, to be made holy, cleansed, a spiritual experience e.g the baptism, to sanctify food to supernaturally cleans the food from negative influences.

4.  Is a human after death on earth able to believe satan is lord?  If not, why can't god cause the same (forceful believing) for fallen angels?
The devil in rev12 draws the host of heaven with his tail. There is a possibility that the liar may continue his lies after death and deceive people that he is God, maybe that's why NDERs report seing Mohamad, budda etc as God's representative on the other side.

5.  Once somebody has the holy spirit dwelling in them (on earth), are they incapable of committing blasphemy of the holy spirit?

I don't think the church knows what blaspheming the holy spirit means, it possibly means pretending to be the holy spirit, I have seen individuals pretending to be incarnations of the holy spirit.

Can you explain WHY instead of "what is"?  Why would the new covenant start at his new death?

Acts 16:31 indicates that it means spared from god's wrath/being given everlasting life.

Death is the condition of sin

The wages of sin is death.

Blasphemy means to speak evil of.  Such as when after jesus read the pharisee's thoughts, he gave the blasphemy warning since the pharisee's thought the spirit in jesus was satan.  So they were speaking evil of the holy spirit and what they did is not the only way to do so.

Sin comes from a Greek word, which means to miss the mark

That's one definition for sin, but appears to not be used often in the bible?

1 John 3:4
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

A sin is an infraction of the law and the punishment for breaking the law is death.  I'd LOVE to see the argument of how sin means to miss the mark.

Forgivness, to let go of resentment or anger towards another person

Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

ephesians 4:26
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,

I'd agree with you on this one, however the word forgiven may also mean being spared punishment of sins by god.

I Corinthians 6:11
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Yes, I believe you got this definition right.

Of course an unbeliever after death can believe that satan is lord since the god's spirit is not dwelling in them.

Matthew 12:24-25
24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons."

25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.

26If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Mark 3:29-30
29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin."
30 He said this because they were saying, "He has an impure spirit."

Mark 3:30 gives you the simple answer, he said this because they said he has an impure spirit.  They didn't even need to say that the spirit was from satan, just saying or believing that the holy spirit is sinful, evil, or committed any sin is blasphemy of the holy spirit.

Hebrews 8:8
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel

The new convenant in this chapter is in relation to blood sprinkling.

John 19:30
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

John 19
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

James 1:15
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death

Jesus took our sins on the cross and he died. Whether the covenant is exclusive to his death or is in addition to the blood sprinkling I am unsure, but I imagine that both are part of the new covenant, his death and the shedding of blood, since the scriptures talk about both his sacrificial death and being cleansed by his blood.

Romans 5:10
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Really?

1 John 3:4
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

A sin is an infraction of the law and the punishment for breaking the law is death.  I'd LOVE to see the argument of how sin means to miss the mark.

Before the law was given we already missed the mark,
Romans
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that [3] all have sinned: 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Sin was already in the world before the law was given, but without the law sin was not imputed.
The law is a written letter given by Moses, but the law of God requires perfection and those who miss it Sin, just as Adam sinned by missing God's mark, his standards.

Christ within us writes Gods laws within our hearts, so we no longer need a letter to guide us, because the law of living life properly is withinus, the holy spirit teaches us how to live properly, in this age that teaching is limited we look through a glass darkly, but in the resurection we will be made whole and living a holy life will be natural to us and easy.

I used to witness to Mormons and would ask, "Did you know the Bible gives an exact number for the number of people
that have been saved by keeping the commandments.? This number is old and new testaments combined and totalled. Do you know how many it says?"

Zero.

zero bibles  :mshock: wow the mormons really have thrown out the bible from their studies
