SeekerSA, you said:

Not strange, ironic. Secular media dwells on the positive NDEs, it's the Christian's that give the hellish ones better press. That is ironic.

I think what Cardinal wrote earlier sums up best what I've learned myself after reading hundreds of NDEs.

Souls that cannot overcome the malice, revenge, hatred, jealousy, etc are in for a rough ride.

He made us self-governing from the beginning.

My question is what happens to a 'Christian' who struggles with the above? (You will know them by their fruits)

:cloud9: The same thing that happens with a non Christian. Salvation is not a one time experience. We were saved, we're being saved, we will be saved. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. The personal experience I shared with how the Lord taught me this, involved a Spirit filled Christian who had died, but had not overcome all at death. Blessings to you.....

Anything to support the myth I suppose :sigh:

All I know is that when I picked up the book at a Christian bookstore, I heard God telling me not to read it. And when I'm on universalist websites, I feel the Lord telling me to read as much as I can   The God I have a deep relationship with mirrors the God of universalism, not the God Bill Weiss serves. Besides, he's writing a series on Hell, which makes me think his god is money and not Yahweh.
