What if the Bible stated God will have all men to be damned?

I think in that case they would preach 95% is damned. Wrath is obvious. Being part of teh 5% is cool. They are like the workmen that complained that the ones that worked just an hour got a full day paid.

I have a Christian friend, and i know Gerry Beauchemin has pointed out these types of people who argues that ALL in most passages are restricted to ALL races than for every individual, but more often than not those interpretations are forced and strained (as Gerry would say)

1 Cor. 15: 22 - so only a distinct few from "all" races die in Adam??

1 Tim 2: 4 - so in verse 6 Christ died only for a distinct few from each race and not every soul is accounted for in His death??

1 John 2: 2 - Hmmmm

Col. 1: 17 - So God didn't create "everything" then...

But once we know the theology behind Aionion Kolasis, Theion or Aionos ton Aionion ("forever and ever") then all of those verses teaching Universalism would make sense.

I also wonder why a Christian elder whom I know is DETERMINED that I must believe in eternal damnation again, otherwise I have welcomed a dangerous spirit. Mind you, that same elder used to believe in me as a Christian and always gave me positive reinforcement inspite of my weaknesses. She taught me about 1 Cor. 13... but some "christians have what I call Damnation Determination.

Why not salvation determination for all? - 1 Tim. 2: 4, 4: 10   :bigGrin: :bigGrin:
